Made from solid blocks of Natural Himalayan rock salt with a wooden base. Salt lamps are believed by some to have positive therapeutic health & well-being qualities. We are buying the lamps from Pakistan in partnership with one of our customers who have family connections in Pakistan. They have a factory where the lamps are constructed from the stone which is mined in the mountains. We have been assured that the factory conditions are good and that all health, safety and social compliance policies are in place and that all government regulations are adhered to. However, we have not visited the factory and cannot claim that these are Fair Trade products. We will certainly be very ethical in our dealings with our supplier and we would hope that over time we can achieve Fair Trade status for these lamps.
