SPECIAL STUDIES

FROM DIGITAL FABRICATIN TO DESGIN ROBOTICS

Research Contemporary Examples ‘‘Making’’ using Robotic Fabrication, CNC, or Raipd Prototyping in Architecture.

STUDIOS

• THE CASCADE PARK PAVILION 03

From Cascad water park, creatied a public Pavilion to prived space for people enjoy quility life with famlies.

• Cliff Haven 04

• COMPUTER NUMRICAL CONTROL-CNC DESGIN 01

From research inspiration, Design the digtail of Modular Assemblies which using simpler, repetivies elements to apply connection of moduler that vary in size, shap, or poroportion in a parametric workflow. Transferable from digtail desgin to CNS Cutting and casting modular by test different of fabrication materials.

• ROBOTIC PAINTING 2D DESIGN 02

Robodic Painting 2D which with the UR10E robot arm, for a typ cal sequence of moves. To combine two “cycles” the Tray Paint Pickup Cycle, and Paint Targets Cycle, to achievea repetitive sequence with a minimum number of grasshopper components

The Cliff Haven is inspired by a part of an oyster shell. The creatively imagining of sea creatures nesting in the shell. The concept is implied to the people who love nature and enjoy living around nature.

• SENIOR WELLNESS CENTER 05

Hong Kong is a second high density population city in China. My goal is created nature of environment to let senior enjoy their quality of life

• MULTIFUNCTIONAL URBAN INFILL 06

To contribute to a modern movement based on social impact, my goal is to create two trapezoid shapes to build a partnership to support a place for the community.

• KAGOSHIMA 07

Traditional temples are often located next to mountain features in Japan. My goal is to design a residential building with a Mountain view so that residents like King enjoy the life of nature.

• FLORIDA FOREST RESEARCH INSITIUTE 08

The site of two lake use “S” shape to surround together that imply the people need the nature to live, enjoy the activities and the nature need people to take care to live and grow. we need eachother

• Climate-Responsive Design 09

It is a efficient office building that reduce the heat, and the building surrounding with mountain view in urban city.

COMPUTER NUMRICAL CONTROL-CNC DESGIN 01

Inspir by Erwin Hauer, who is sculptor designed light-diffusing architectural screens and walls employing Hauer’s modular style. From his inspirration, the design use Rhino made three D single moduler to repetitive created the architectual screen. With CNC castting the moduler and test different fabrication with wax, cenment, and plaster.

CNC AND 3D CASTING WITH VARY MATERIAL 01

Design in Rhino with CNC cutting foam board

CNC cut the top and the bottom of molds

Clamps with two molds together filled with plaster.

Repetitive of Modulers

Design in Rhino, 3D Print the moduler. With silicon mold, filled with wax, and cenment.

Repetitive of cenment modulers to connect with vary direction

Concept of architecture design light screen wall

ROBOTIC DESIGN OF PAINTING 02

Experience in Rhino of grasshopper, designed the painting patter to connect the robot to simulated paintting.

Cliff Haven 04

Panacea Oyster Farm, Crawfordville, FL

The Cliff Haven is inspired by a part of an oyster shell. The creatively imagining of sea creatures nesting in the shell. The concept is implied to the people who love nature and enjoy living around nature.

SITE ANALYSIS

SENIOR WELLNESS

CENTER 05

TaiPo, HongKong, 2070

HongKong is a second high density population city in China. The most challage in HongKong is senior’s housing and medical requirments. High quality of life is diffcult to measure with different people. For seniors, It is important spending quility of life with autonomy, valuable activeies with group of friend and emotion support to their purpose of life goals, activities, adventures. My goal is created nature of environment to let senior enjoy their quality of life.

MULTIFUNCTIONAL URBAN INFILL 06

South Adam street with Famu way Street

To contribute to a modern movement based on social impact, my goal is to create two trapezoid shapes to build a partnership to support a place for the community. Each building will engage the surrounding economy to create an effective public and private environment for supporting the local community’s enjoyment of their everyday lives.

KAGOSHIMA 07 Japan

Traditional temples are often located next to mountain features in Japan. The pagoda temple is a tower like, multistory, solid, hollow stone, brick, or wood structure. These structures symbolized sacred mountains and were used to house relics or remains of kings. The temple inspired me because of its structure, shape, and material, which apply to my project.

My goal is to design a residential building with a Mountain view so that residents like King enjoy the life of nature.
