"Implementing proper safeguards is not just a recommendation; it's a requirement to preserve the sanctity of our homes."
Rabbi Yisroel Reisman, Kinnus Klal Yisrael, May 20, 2012

Our Gedolim Warned Us, and Now the Larger World Is Waking Up Too.

The dangers of excessive screen time aren’t just the warnings of our Gedolim—they’re stark realities backed by global concern and alarming statistics. Parents, educators, and communities are grappling with the impact of screens on children’s development, behavior, and family life. Technology is reshaping brains, slowing natural development, and creating a craving for constant stimulation. Emotional health is taking a hit, with disrupted sleep, rising anxiety, and a loss of quality family time. Meanwhile, the lack of outdoor play and exercise compounds these challenges, leaving children more disconnected and less resilient. The message is clear: it’s time to reclaim childhood.

So, where do we go from here?

Born from the tension between tradition and technology, Naki is the answer to the modern parent’s challenge.

Spotlight On Yiddishe Homes with Naki

"We couldn’t be happier with a Naki device! It’s on all morning and again as soon as the kids come home from school. It feels like we’ve added a hundred new CDs to our home! The after-school chaos has become so much smoother and more pleasant. Yasher Koach for this amazing invention!" M.M.

"My parents bought my kids a Naki device for Chanukah, and it’s been a hit ever since! They listen to it daily—from after school until they fall asleep and even in the mornings before school! This was hands-down the best gift ever. My kids range from ages 4 to 15, and they all love it. Thank you for creating the perfect device for every Jewish home!" D.W.

"Our lives have completely changed since buying the Naki device. We didn’t have any way to play music in our home before, but now it’s on all day—Jewish music, kids' stories, shiurim, and more. During Pesach, it became a source of entertainment and inspiration while cleaning and cooking. Thank you for creating something that aligns perfectly with our values and brings joy to our lives!" L.R.

"Thank you so much! The device arrived today, and my son is over the moon excited. I’m usually hesitant to splurge on extras, especially at this price, but this is necessary for my son. The Naki device will make a huge difference in his daily routine. I can’t thank you enough for creating this." A.M.G.

"We’re amazed that there’s a single product the entire family, across all ages, can enjoy! It’s affordable, safe, and perfect for use any time of the day! It’s been beneficial for bochurim, who have limited kosher entertainment options. During a tough winter when my kids were sick, the Naki device distracted them and helped pass the time. We, adults, love rediscovering the songs we grew up with and sharing them with our kids, who don’t often hear this kind of music anymore. Thank you so much!" N.C.

"I wasn’t sure my kids would like it because they’re so used to the iPad, but they haven't even touched it since we got the Naki! My daughter even asked to watch Uncle Moishy and clarified, 'On the Naki, not the iPad.' That says it all!" Y.W.

"We own one and love it! My 12-year-old uses it the most since he always wants music playing, but it’s become a gift for the whole family. My parents even got one, and my father listens to shiurim daily. We may need to get a second one just for him!" E.P.

I want to say thank you for everything you do, I dont think you realize how powerful your naki is, my kids are constantly being inspired and entertained by Kosher Jewish entertainment, thanks to you! and then when they are asleep I get to relax to good quality jewish music!! So thank you for making this available! M.C.

"The Naki has brought so much joy and kedusha into our home! As parents of nine children, we’ve seen it transform bedtime routines, provide hours of entertainment, and create memories filled with music and laughter. Thank you for making such a meaningful product. May you continue to inspire and uplift Jewish homes everywhere!" T.C.

FAQ: Everything About Naki Made Simple Naki Know-How: Your Go-To Guide

Content and Features

Q: Does the device need WiFi to listen to music?

A: Yes. The Naki Pulse, PulseMax, Bolt, and Auto need WiFi to stream kosher content and receive updates. (The Naki Auto uses a data plan instead of WiFi.)

Rest assured: all Naki devices are completely secure. They cannot create hotspots, browse the Internet, or download anything that Naki has not carefully reviewed, approved, and made accessible.

Q: Can I use headphones instead of the speaker?

A: Absolutely! Naki devices fully support wired headphones for private listening whenever you need it.

Q: Is Naki compatible with Bluetooth speakers?

A: Yes! The Naki Bolt can be used as a source for Bluetooth speakers. However, the Naki Pulse and PulseMax do not support Bluetooth-out for use with external Bluetooth speakers.

That said, all Naki devices support Bluetooth-IN, allowing them to receive audio from external devices and play it through Naki’s built-in speaker.

The Portal

Q: How do I control what content is available for playing on my devices?

A: On the Naki Portal screen, when logged into your account, you will see that each selection has a colored dot at the top right corner. Clicking on a selection will toggle between Red (Disabled) & Green (Enabled). If the dot is Orange, clicking through will show additional selections.

Q: What is the difference between the Naki Portal and the app?

A: The Naki Portal (accessed online) lets parents manage account settings, subscriptions, filters, and profiles.

The Naki Go App (on smart devices) is another way to access and listen to Naki content.

Q: Once I decide on my choices, can I sync content between my devices?

A: Yes! Content access settings sync across all your devices, ensuring a seamless experience. However, downtime settings do not sync automatically—they must be set individually for each device.

Here’s how content syncing works:

Sync Content Access: Your content settings will automatically apply to all devices linked to your account (up to 5).

Downtime Must Be Set Per Device: If you want to restrict usage (e.g., from 4:30 to 5:30 for homework time), you will need to configure this separately for each device.

How to Sync Content:

Set Content Access: Manage content settings for one device, and they’ll apply to all linked devices.

Adjust Downtime Per Device: Go to the device settings to configure downtime individually.

Sync Devices: Click the button to refresh content access settings across all devices. The icon will turn green when successfully synced.

Purchasing and Subscription Technical and Practical Info

Q: Are Naki devices also available in-store?

A: Yes! Naki devices are available at your local Judaica store.

Q: Is a monthly subscription required?

A: Yes. A monthly subscription is required for play. Content is not included in your purchase. When you buy a Naki device, you only pay for the physical product. The required monthly subscription gives you full access to:

Unlimited audio content –stories, music, podcasts, shiurim, and more.

Fresh, updated content – new additions are constantly added.

Think of it as unlocking the entire entertainment system that keeps growing and evolving!

Q: Can I pause or cancel my subscription?

A: Yes, you can pause or cancel your subscription anytime through the Naki Portal. However, access to the content library will be restricted if the subscription is inactive.

Q: Do I need a separate subscription for each device?

A: No! One subscription covers up to five devices per household, allowing the whole family to enjoy the content.

Q: How long does the battery last?

A: Naki devices are designed for extended use, but battery life varies depending on the model and usage. On average, expect several hours of continuous playtime.

Q: How do I update the device?

A: Updates happen automatically when the device is connected to WiFi, ensuring you always have the latest features and content.

Q: What should I do if my device won’t turn on or connect?

A: First, try restarting the device and checking the WiFi connection. If issues persist, contact our support team at support@naki.audio for assistance.

Q: Can the device be used outside the U.S.?

A: Naki devices can be used internationally as long as a private WiFi network is available. Naki Pulse, PulseMax, and Bolt devices come with an EU adapter.

Q: My WiFi Network has router-level filtering in place. Will Naki devices work on my network?

A: We cannot guarantee the use of our devices on a filtered network at this time as these filters often block communication of Naki programming. This applies to filters on the entire network. Filtered computers will not interfere with Naki devices.

Q: Does Naki work with smart home systems (like Alexa or Google Home)?

A: Not at this time. Naki is designed as a stand-alone, closed system to ensure maximum security and kosher compliance.

Q: Can I return the device if I’m not satisfied?

A: While Naki does not have an open return policy, we’re glad to accommodate on a case-by-case basis. If your device isn’t working correctly, please reach out. We’re here to help and will ensure the issue is resolved. Contact us at support@naki.audio
