Construction on the Wichita Biomedical Campus just hit Phase 1, an eight-story, 350,000 squarefoot building, is actively underway. The project involves joint contractors Hutton and JE Dunn.
Oxford Family Dentistry announced plans and is set to break ground on a 10,216 square foot facility near the northwest corner of 37th Street and Ridge Road.
Infrastructure work is nearing completion for the 48acre Park Centre project in Park City, which includes a senior center, apartments, and townhomes. Construction on the $5.3-million senior center is slated to begin in April 2025.
Champtown Sports Complex’s eight softball and baseball fields are under construction west of I-135 in Park City, with completion expected by March 2025.
Dondlinger Construction broke ground on Wichita’s multi-modal transit and parking garage facility at 207 S. Sycamore in Deleno. The 209,000 square foot facility is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2026.
The Wichita City Council approved a letter of intent from Hyde Park Flats LLC for up to $4 million in industrial revenue bonds (IRBs) to support the construction of a 36-unit apartment development just south of English Street, between Greenwood Avenue and Hydraulic.

Oxford Senior Living and ComfortCare Homes are both relocating to the Farm Credit Bank Building in downtown Wichita, with Oxford Senior Living expanding to 5,000 square feet to support its growing operations, and ComfortCare Homes moving from its current location in the Equity Bank Building into 5,300 square feet. These relocations are part of a growing trend of medical office activity tied to the downtown Wichita Biomedical Campus.
Construction is underway on a rare Class A, non-owner occupied property at the northwest corner of Central and Webb in east Wichita. The 7,700 square-foot office building is expected to be ready for a single or multiple tenants by March.
Q4 in Wichita has been all about sales and relocations. Hazel + Honey Med Spa found a new home in the Crestpoint development, expanding its services in a stylish 2,400square-foot space designed to meet growing demand.
Bradley Fair saw a flurry of activity with J. Crew, Carhartt and Emler Swim school all announcing plans to open in the center in 2025.
After closing its doors in 2023, the Boulevard Theatres in Old Town had a soft opening just before Christmas. The theatre is not yet at full capacity, with plans to expand concession options, add alcoholic beverages and to allow for in search ordering to come in 2025

A city program intended to encourage the development of large airfield hangers appears to have attracted its third project at Air Capital Flight Line in less than three years. ACFL has requested and received a letter of intent from the City of Wichita to issue industrial revenue bonds up to $12 million to build a speculative 111,000 square foot facility at 4174 S. Oliver.
Longtime Wichita aerospace machine shop C.E. Machine Co
received an economic development exemption, or EDX to allow a property tax abatement for a $6.5 million dollar expansion. The EDX will allow C. E. Machine to add nearly 100,000 square feet to their 126,000 headquarters at 1741 S. Hoover.
