Political crisis a replica of 2015: Dr. Shürho
Correspondent
KOHIMA, AUG 31 (NPN): NPF president and MLA, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu described the current NPF crisis as a replica of the 2015 crisis when majority of the NPF MLAs camped at Sovima had revolted against the NPF for116 days. Dr. Shurho said this while speaking at the general conference of NPF Kohima division at state academy hall on Thursday. Dr. Shurho said that even though the dissidents had elected their own president and office bearers, he urged the party not to be misled with whatever statements they were giving to confuse the people. He reminded the party workers that though the party has minority MLAs yet the legislators belonged to the party and that NPF party was deeply rooted with the Naga people. He said the party was formed with Naga cause in mind by the founding members and the party cannot be handed over to the people who only believed in “might and power could control the

Referring to the dismissal of erstwhile NPF government, he said that it was all pre-planned by Governor P.B Acharya, Neiphiu Rio, T. R Zeliang and some central BJP leaders knowing that Nagaland being the stronghold of regional NPF party, BJP had no scope in the state. In this light, T.R’s government was installed unconstitutionally so as to pave way for a BJP government in future.
Regarding the on-going court cases, Dr. Liezietsu said, the rebel MLAs would try to confuse the people and lure party workers, however he added, any party worker who left for the dissident group would automatically detach themselves from the NPF. DAN chairman and leader NPF legislator party, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu in his speech urged the party rank and files to stand by the truth even if it meant
