LOGO BEST PRACTICES To ensure your brand logo is not the victim of aesthetic visualism, the general rule to abide is, do not change, alter, modify any part of the logo. Some examples of logo misuse are shown below.

Do Not: Logomark Do not resize or change the position of the logomark.

Do Not: Colour Do not change the colours even if they look similar. Use the official colour specification detailed in these guidelines.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION The ez check-in app, now named as SEKEYURE, is an app that helps regulate the people coming in and out of a building without the hassle of doing any paper work and keeping everything simple and hassle-free. There will be a website for the security guards and the app will have to be linked to the website to enable the management to log in and have an archive of people/ vehicles that comes in and out of the building.

Concept behind the name of the easy check in app - SEKEYURE The word ‘SEKEYURE’ derived from ‘SECURE’ but it has a little twist to it. Therefore, SEKEYURE is formed. Furthermore, when asked to think of a word related to security, it will either be a key or a lock. After explorations with both the word key and lock, we decided upon using the word ‘key’ in secure (se-key-ure) since it sounded better and it made more sense. Also, SEKEYURE sounded similar to secure. The name has a better catch to it that would allow user to remember it easily. Hence, this led to the use of a key icon in the logo that has buildings attached to it to help represent the secured premises such as condominiums and office buildings as well as schools.

LOGO STYLES Solid Black

The solid black version is only for the use of Fax and some forms of black/ white commercial printing applications such as local newspapers.

Grayscale

The grayscale version can be used for higher quality but still B/W print reproduction.

Concept behind the logo design SEKEYURE

Original

This is the main logo to use. The logo is in a golden colour.

(1) Buildings with windows to represent the condominiums or the office buildings.

Social Media

(2) White lights to emphasise the windows on the buildings.

These are the 2 versions that can be used for Social Media profile image. Each are saved with a transparent background.

Gold represents high quality, showing that these buildings are of high standards that it needs to have security guards to ensure the safety & security of the area. Also, visitors need to have permission to access the premises which shows that the security is high.

White gives off a peaceful and clean feeling thus, giving the impression of efficiency on the check-in process which then leads to a happy visitor and tenant. Hence, giving off a peaceful vibe and feeling. 3

TYPEFACE DETAILS

Typeface Family Only one font style is used for the logo and it is Nexa Bold from the Nexa Family. Nexa family has a number of styles and weights, however, there are only two weights that can be used for free. They are Nexa Bold and Nexa Light.

TYPEFACE DETAILS

The font, Nexa Bold, suits the brand identity for SEKEYURE due to its bold sans serif font that naturally looks good-looking by itself when used for headlines or text blocks. The font is versatile that makes it easy to adapt to any kind of style and also has good legibility. SEKEYURE needs a good bold font like Nexa Bold to show safety, trust and security.

When to use: Nexa Bold is the only font used in the logotype/logo wording - SEKEYURE. Best used for headlines or text blocks.
