Leading a life group is more than a role in a church, it’s a high calling! Having the right gifting and experience plays an important part for any life group leader, but so does the right training WaterStone Church’s new Life Group (LG) Training provides a comprehensive understanding of the leadership standards, unified direction and practical expectations that every life group leader abides by for a quality and consistent life group experience.
The LG Training team educates, edifies and empowers potential life group leaders through a prayerfully curated course, in addition to resourcing leaders in various areas of life group leadership such as curriculum, fellowship, service and more.
Connection/Integrator Lead:KellyWest|407-339-8961
WaterStone Church’s Life Groups form a network of micro-communities within the greater Body of Christ As the Life Groups ministry grows, finding the right group can pose a challenge However, with WSC’s new Life Group (LG) Integration Ministry, finding the right group just got easier! LG Integration serves as a central starting point for new members or for anyone looking to join or change from a life group
With LG Integration, members can learn which groups are available, more about their demographics and history, and are quickly connected to leaders for additional discussion or visitation. Volunteers on this team provide an essential service in helping to plug members into groups quickly, efficiently and easily As a team, LG Integration mobilizes members into deeper community, helping them to find fellowship, support and growth!

Whether it’s a known and ongoing chronic illness, a new diagnosis, an unknown ailment or any level of injury, WaterStone Church’s Pastoral Care team provides dedicated deacon oversight to mobilize the greater Body into service to show both practical care and spiritual support. Through a wide variety of ministry efforts, WSC’s Pastoral Care team reminds those with injuries and illnesses that Jesus is with them through the hands and feet of the church.
A pastoral care team can play a vital role in supporting the elderly in our community by providing compassionate, personalized care that addresses both emotional and spiritual needs. Additionally, the team can facilitate access to resources and services, ensuring that elderly individuals receive the comprehensive care and support they deserve while fostering a sense of community and belonging.
As part of WaterStone Church’s Pastoral Care team, two dedicated deacons oversee the care and mobilization of help for approximately 25 widows, through a variety of practical and spiritual means These widows are at a high risk for isolation, depression and even job loss In addition, many lack local family and friends to act as a support network during the critical time of initial lifestyle adjustment and transition that comes with the loss of a spouse However, with the right volunteer team, WSC can provide the support so many widows need
The WaterStone Church Pastoral Care team also provides deacon oversight to mobilize members of the Body to serve its special needs community This service exists to help special-needs members to find a sense of belonging and care Both staff members and volunteers stand ready to aid children and adults with disabilities, with the ultimate goal of sharing the love and message of Jesus
A pastoral care team supports single parents by offering emotional, spiritual, and practical help, such as counseling, prayer, and resources like childcare and support groups This helps single parents navigate challenges with greater resilience and a sense of community
Our benevolence team uses discernment and generosity to provide financial assistance to those in our community This team oversees the use of finances in helping those who need it, such as providing groceries, medical help, critical payments, and more All benevolence is verified by this team, stewardship, and pastoral staff
