WHAT'S THE DISH? BROKEN YOLK CAFÉ

Vegas is very serious about their breakfast! And we may have just uncovered the best flavors in town!

The Broken Yolk Café has multiple locations around Las Vegas, but a new location near the Southwest on Blue Diamond Road was recently opened, and MYVEGAS had the chance to see it for ourselves. And why not try their mimosa flight while we were at it, right?

For a bustling Sunday morning breakfast, we couldn’t help but notice their attention to detail and speed. It’s clear that they keep things moving and care about keeping everyone as happy as possible.

We were pleasantly greeted by our server and the manager of the restaurant, who made sure that we were served all the local favorites.

For drinks, coffee was the first thing we had to start with, because that would just be the right thing to do. We settled for a Caramel Latte as well as a Chai Tea, and both hit the spot. Obviously, their food is the main focus, but the drinks were absolutely on point. He also recommended that their seasonal margarita should be tried, which at the time was a Watermelon Margarita. How could we pass it up?! Tart, flavorful, and strong- just like any brunch pro would like it! We also tried their Mimosa Flight, which I highly recommend! The presentation was amazing, and the flavors (Orange Juice, Pomegranate, Lemonade and Grapefruit) were delicious!

Their menu is jam packed! Everything looks like something you could eat, but here is what we got to try! For eggs benedict lovers, they can definitely take care of those cravings. Plus, with their Pick Two Benedict’s option, you get to try different flavors. We chose the Golden State and the Caprese, and both did not disappoint! Next were the sweet treats, AKA their Sweet Trio. A delicious sampling of their French toasts and Cinna-cake, it was almost impossible to stop eating this. Sometimes sweet breakfast options can be overwhelmingly sweet, but this gives you a great balance of flavors and keeps you going back for more!

Onto the savory items, which completely blew us away. We had the chance to try their Chilaquiles Burrito, which is available for a limited time. Along with their regular south of the border menu items, this special burrito was packed full and didn’t hold back on flavor. We also tried their Good Morning Burger, which was topped with two fried eggs and applewood-smoked bacon. This was probably our favorite entrée, which is saying a lot! It was cooked to perfection, balanced right, and hit every point.

Wondering how you can level up your breakfast or lunch? We found the restaurant for you!! They have mastered the sweet and the savory. And the brunch drinks? You can’t go wrong.
