Belleville, a small

town with a rather important VIA rail train junction. Surrounded by The Bay of Quinte and The Moira River POPULATION: 50,000

The local newspaper in the town is called the “Intelligencer” which highly influences the idea of buying and advertising locally.

A small town called Colburne

provides one of the most famous pitstops along the 401. The Big Apple is a great place to stretch your legs, fill up on gas, play some mini golf and pet some animals at the petting zoo.

Oh, and the bakery is pretty great too.

Within the Big Apple is brochures, maps and many fun things to learn about surrounding areas. They include a lot of information about Prince Edward County, as ot is one of the biggest tourist areas.

Danforth Street,Toronto

Taste of the Danforth is held at the start of August to showcase Greek Town,

by offering the best of Hellenic food and culture.

The street runs east/west and approximately 10 km long.

It was named after Asa Danforth who was an American contractor.

This is a great event for both independent and large retailers will set up for their new products or offerings. A lot of media, including news channels and radio stations broadcast directly on the scene each year to gain exposure

Elora Quarry in the town of Elora.

the town is known for this natural landmark, brining families to the beach, and youngsters for jumping off the edge into the deep quarry.

The town does not hold much more than well known family businessnes, varying from shops markets, restaurants and bars. Toursists are generally only interested in visiting the quarry

Farnham,Quebec

about an hour south of Montreal Home to roughly eight thousand

people, many of which need the land for farming and crops The majority of visitors attend

a skydiving school entitled “Parachutisme Nouvel-Air” As it’s main attraction, the signs for the parachuting school start about 50 kms prior to the Farnham exit.

Georgian Bay

Part of Lake Huron, the bay covers about fifteen thousand square kilometers, stretching to access thirty thousand islands and major towns such as Owen Sound, Collingwood and Meaford.

Connecting these towns is also the well known bike path called the Georgian Trail.

HILAIRE a town at the bottom of two large mountains, inwhich residents are

discovering that cellular reception is sometimes scarce, or unretrievable whatsoever. the locals are very dependent on the news channels and morning newspaper to keep up to date with what’s going on in the world, since they are oh, so suburban.

a park primarily reserved for concerts and festivals in summer with it’s own subway station, it’s accessible mainly by public transit.

One festival can cater up to 10,000 spectators, which encourages sales.

Osheaga is one of the most popular festivals sponsored mainly by Virgin Mobile.

The choice of many vacationers for a great stop by boat. the small town of kennebunk is almost more recognized for it’s port where people will gather from all around the north east coast. In fact, Maine and surrounding beaches is a highly popular destination for Quebecers, bringing a french flare to the cultural area.

famous for it’s pop culture & culture mixed with the lowest drinking age and bars open one hour later, this city is built on meeting people and having a few great nights

Embrace the outdoors and the outdoor advertising, Montreal tends to never skip a beat, especially in the heart of downtown on Sainte Catherine street.

Ottawa, Canada’s capital.

Translated to english, it means “to trade,” taking importance for Canadian culture and diversity. Also representing a house of commons, where countries all over the world will gather, share ideas and opinions for the future outcome of Canada.

Niagara Falls, N

bordering Canada and the United States of America A major tourist attraction for both Canadians and Americans alike. Some even say it’s the perfect way to join two major countries together.

Presqu’ile

A provincial park on the North Shore of Lake Ontario French for peninsula, directly translated means “almost island” The area was formed by a limestone island connecting later on

by a sand spit, which is referred to as a tombolo.

There is a high lack of media out on the strip, for

it is a hard to reach area. Most visitors are more likely to want to escape everyday hussel and simply relax.

and joins the great lakes to the the gulf of St. Lawrence. It really acts like the great connection between Ontario and Quebec, except with no language laws as an obstacle.

Rondeau Established in1894 Home to 283 cottages currently &

the oldest ones are about 100 years old Unfortunately come 2017, the cottages may be subject to demolishion because of the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act as of the year 2017.

Currently, there is a petition in place to attempt to avoid this result.

Sandbanks named for it’s sand dunes beaches,

a great deal of the surrounding land is for several independent wineries Popular spot for camping excursions or a leisurely vacation destination.

This is also where the music video for the 1985 song “Wave Babies” by Honeymoon Suite was filmed.

With this, came much more commerce in town bringing a Starbucks , Beaver Tails, Menchies and other well known chain restaurants and shops. Outside of Intrawest, are independent restaurants and small shops along main street

Vankleek Hill, a pit stop off the beaten track.

If ever one does find themselves in the small town, be sure sure to check out Beau’s Brewery which is said to be the first brewery in Canada to become a benefit corporation, aka “B. C o r p.”

WATERLOO; student town

due to the renowned university specializing in recreation.

What brings tourists to visit a place filled with Sunday morn’ red plastic cups is Oktoberfest, each and every year. The celebration spans over two weekends blocking off the main downtown street as performances go on, and booths are set up to showcase real german treats and trends.
