This brochure may reach you directly from MYQAS CERTIFICATION Sdn Bhd (MYQAS) or from other sources. Wherever it came from, this brochure aims to inform and invite RMC Producers/Manufacturers to obtain Product Certification from MYQAS. A product certificate for RMC is required by Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB) for application to CIDB, to obtain Certificate of Standards Compliance or Perakuan Pematuhan Standard (PPS) as enforced under Schedule IV of CIDB Act 520 (Amendment 2011). MYQAS is established to provide a friendly, professional and independent Certification in accordance to requirements of International Standards ISO/IEC 17065 and ISO/IEC 17067. MYQAS hopes to extend our support to the Malaysian construction industry. MYQAS is an independent Certification Body which is financially stable and derived revenue mainly from certification fees and has adequate and competent resources for its operation. Delivering the RMC
Construction Industry Standard (CIS 21:2018) “Ready-Mixed Concrete (RMC): Production, Conformity, Transportation and Delivery Criteria For Producers” was developed and published by the Construction Industry Board Malaysia (CIDB) in 2016. The latest edition at the time of printing this brochure is the CIS 21:2018. CIS 21, provides the criteria for RMC producers, the RMC plants and the concrete for product certification. With a product certification certificate, a certified producer could apply to CIDB for the CIDB’s Certificate of Standards Compliance or “Perakuan Pematuhan Standard” (PPS) for RMC which is already listed in Schedule IV and a
mandatory requirement to comply with CIDB Act 520 (Amendment 2011).
