“The sun is going down,” said Mother Duck.

“You must go to sleep now.”

“Go to sleep now,” said Mother Duck.

So Little Duck went to sleep.

“But I need to swim and dive,” said Little Duck.

“The sun is going down,” said Mother Rabbit.

“You must go to sleep now.”

“You must go to sleep,” said Mother Rabbit.

So Little Rabbit went to sleep.

“Not now,” said Little Rabbit.

“I am still eating.”

“No,” said Mother Spider.

“You must go to sleep now.”

So Little Spider went to sleep when the sun went down.

“Go to sleep,” said Mother Spider.

“Can I play on the web?” said Little Spider.

“Go to bed now,” said Mother Frog.

“You need to sleep,” said Mother Frog.

“But I am looking for worms and bugs to eat,” said Little Frog.

So Little Frog went to sleep when the sun went down.

“Come to the nest and go to sleep,” said Mother Bird.

So Little Bird went to sleep when the sun went down.

“I need to sing,” said Little Bird.

“You must go to sleep,” said Mother Bird.

“Little Fox, you must go to sleep,” said Mother Fox. “Can I keep hunting?” said Little Fox.

“You must sleep now,” said Mother Fox. “The sun is going down.”

So Little Fox went to sleep.

“The sun is going down,” said Mother Bat “It is time for you to wake up.”

“Do I have to get up?” said Little Bat. “Yes, you do,” said Mother Bat.
