Move over HGTv sTars Joanna Gaines, Nicole Curtis, Jonathon and Drew Scott … We have Erin Lutke, marketing director for MyNorth Media and star of our Northern Home & Cottage Virtual Home Tours. In the three years since we’ve filmed these tours, Erin has been in and out of more than 20 homes, a film crew following her as she narrates her way from room to room. Erin was made for the camera: She can chat away naturally and intelligently—without a script—and draws you in with her big, beautiful smile. She is also unflappable: During her first year, 2020, she filmed until she was nine-plus months pregnant (watching her while filming, I have to confess to being a little anxious that her baby would arrive while the camera was rolling!). Oscar was born on September 23, 2020, just days after she’d wrapped up the last video. This year, a nasty case of laryngitis slowed her down with four videos left to film. Never fear. She rescheduled and was back on the job ASAP.

Erin, of course, is always joined with the other stars of our Northern Home & Cottage Virtual Tour: each of our featured houses. This year Erin will be touring our audience through eight magnificent homes from Glen Arbor to Harbor Springs. Among them, properties as divergent as a minimalist, earthy 1980s condo redo and a stunning nouveau Victorian. As is always the case on our tours, you’ll get shots of waterfront properties that would make the producers at HGTV’s “Beachfront Bargain Hunter” swoon!
