erry Fresh Café is much more than just a local breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant… it’s an extraordinary eating establishment that offers not only incredible fresh, homemade food, but also warm, welcoming service in a comfortable, cheery atmosphere. If you’ve never been there, then Abby and I are here to say — what are you waiting for?! Berry Fresh Café is a genuine breath of fresh air in a world full of greasy, fried, and frozen foods served without any thought or care. Let me explain more: Everything at Berry Fresh Café is of the highest quality. The coffee is fresh ground and rainforest alliance certified, and the hot teas are all organic. The chicken is all natural, farm raised, cage free, and free of hormones and antibiotics. The fresh-squeezed orange juice comes from Ft. Pierce’s Natalie’s Orchard Island Juice Company, while the large, farm-fresh AA eggs are from Okeechobee. Whenever possible, locallygrown fruits and vegetables are utilized in each of the restaurant’s homemade recipes. Not to mention there are countless options for vegetarians and vegans on each of the café’s menus, as well as for those who are gluten-free or following the Keto diet. In short, there are countless reasons why Berry Fresh Café has been voted “The Best” on the Treasure Coast for 7 years in a row, and not just in one category, but four — Best Breakfast, Best Brunch, Best Daily Specials, and Best American Restaurant.

Abby and I each ordered two items from both the regular breakfast & lunch menu and the “What’s Fresh” menu, which features exciting new seasonal dishes each month.

I selected the half size of the vegetarian-friendly Quinoa Mixed Berry Superfood Power Salad ($10.49) from the regular menu. If you’re looking for a fresh, healthy lunch that will keep you full throughout the day, then this option is definitely for you! The half size is a generous portion, but if you’re hungrier and need an extra boost, then the full size is only $2 more. This bright salad is loaded with tender, fresh spinach leaves and kale, red cabbage, carrots, Craisins®, and sliced almonds, then topped with a chilled quinoa black bean burger and plenty of blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, goat cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onions. Each bite brings refreshing and invigorating flavors that motivate you to take full advantage of your day. It’s a meal that not only tastes delightful, but also makes you feel healthy and robust. Each ingredient is of the highest quality, and you can definitely taste that farm-to-table difference.

From the regular menu, Abby picked the Traditional Very Berry Eggs Benedict ($12.49). Two expertly poached eggs burst satisfyingly over tender, juicy Canadian bacon and a toasted English muffin. And, of course,everything is topped off with Berry Fresh Café’s delectable made-from-scratch Hollandaise sauce, which Abby comments is “one of the best [she’s] ever had.” In fact, Abby encourages you to ask for extra Hollandaise because she thinks it’s so tasty! She sopped up every last bite of this breakfast, and says she is excited to try all of Berry Fresh’s variations of this classic dish on her future visits.

Christmas Pancakes ($11.49), any sweet tooth’s absolute dream! Two thick, plate-sized red velvet pancakes filled with an eggnog country cream arrive topped with oodles of decadent white chocolate chips, sprinkles (red and green, of course!), and powdered sugar, plus heaps of whipped cream. The pancakes are lusciously rich and fluffy, and the eggnog cream adds a subtle, yet incredibly thoughtful, element of sweet creaminess to this breakfast/ dessert. The pancakes’ presentation alone will make you feel jolly, but you’ll feel even more of that warm holiday spirit when you take your first bite… they’re an instant mood booster!

Abby ordered the Day After Thanksgiving Sandwich ($11.99) from the “What’s Fresh” menu and could not have been more impressed. Juicy roasted turkey, moist homemade stuffing, brown turkey gravy, and a sweet, tangy cranberry chutney are packed onto thick, soft slices of Challah bread. “It really is,” Abby says, “like Thanksgiving dinner all wrapped up into a succinct bite.”

It’s a deliciously satisfyingly, hearty dish, so be prepared to ask for a box!

I’d be remiss not to mention the quality of Berry Fresh Café’s 16 oz. fresh-pressed juices before I end this review. I chose the detoxifying Beet Retreat ($7.49), while Abby selected the heart-healthy Strawberry Sunshine Punch ($7.49). Normally, anything that I’ve tried that claims to “detoxify” tastes, frankly, like dirt.

of the apples, oranges, and ginger balance out the flavor of the beets and carrots.

The result is a sweet, earthy concoction that you’ll find yourself quickly reordering.

Abby’s punch, on the other hand, offers a tangier, sweeter flavor profile with strawberries, pineapples, carrots, apples, oranges, limes, and ginger. It’s light and bright, sure to put a smile on your face, and definitely a good choice if you want to get your child to enjoy a healthy glass of juice.

Both Abby and I will most definitely be back to Berry Fresh Café to luxuriate in their charming space with impeccable food. Plus, we have to keep up with those rotating “What’s Fresh” monthly specials! We strongly encourage you to visit Berry Fresh Café too!

You have to experience their fresh, made-from-scratch flavors with ingredients that are often sourced from local farms. Truly, you cannot go wrong with anything on any of the restaurant’s plentiful menus. In addition to their Stuart location, Ace of Carts has expanded to two more locations, one in Daytona Beach and the other, newest one in Tequesta, the Grand Opening of which is later this month.

Tequesta’s premier 3,000 square foot showroom will still have the same offerings as the other locations, but will be more focused on the customer experience. Nick explains, “The Tequesta location will be geared more toward the golf customer.” There will be a digital golf simulator on the premises, along with other interactive displays and attractions that customers can explore while shopping for carts and accessories! Nick adds, “The customers will leave the store more informed than when they walked in.”
