20th Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance Walk planned Dan Enea with Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, the Little Falls Youth and Family Center (YMCA), and M&T Bank are inviting all community members, first responders, and veterans to take part in the 20th Anniversary 9/11 Free Community Remembrance Walk at Rotary Park.

Enea said, “We do the picnic every year and I thought coming off of COVID we could do something a little more low-key, especially to commemorate the 20th anniversary. So, we came up with the walk, and hopefully, the community will take part in it.” He said that people can gather at 1 pm in Rotary Park and the walk will begin at 1:30. They’ll

proceed down the Erie Canalway Trail, loop around under the bridge, and then come back to the park.

You can show up on the day of the event, but RSVPs will help with planning. The Little Falls Public Library is bringing a 9/11 exhibit and the New York State Trooper Wall will be on display, that celebrates the fallen troopers that have passed away on duty.
