A Message From Keith Fisher President Niagara Scenic Tours

A “Brand” New Beginning I hope this newsletter finds everyone and your family well. I refuse to make use of these “unprecedented times” but would rather say that the times have tried the souls of everyone.

During our town hall meetings, I have expressed how much I genuinely appreciate the job everyone has done during this time. It has been extremely hard on all of us; however, our team has stepped up to the plate and done an incredible job. You all are the best in the industry, and I am sure we will enjoy measurable benefits in the future because of your dedication.

The past year gave us pause to relook at who we

are and what we do. Our team has struggled with the various names of our tour departments. Prior to the pandemic we discussed merging the tour departments with a common name that speaks to our customers and ties in Niagara Scenic Tours. I am excited about the change.

We conducted focus groups that worked with us to develop our new brand. Scenic Excursions identifies effectively with our motor coach company.

I am confident our customers will embrace our new brand and I am counting on your support of a new beginning for Scenic Excursions.

The Sun is Rising, And The Road is Calling You To say last year was trying might be an understatement. Who among us thought that when Covid hit in 2020 it would be Spring 2021 before we started to see any significant movement in the motor coach industry?

Originally it was supposed to be a 60-to-90-day dip, and we would get back to business as normal. How wrong that was. The past year has been difficult for all of us on so many levels; be it in our personal lives, our health, in business, or our society. In time, I am confident we will grow stronger and better, as it is not the good times that make us who we are, but the times of adversity that truly test and build our character.

Our entire team came together during this crisis in

extraordinary ways. For those of us that have exhibited our commitment to a successful future, I believe that you feel the way I do—we are closer and stronger than ever.

The year past allowed us to build unity amongst our tour departments and introduce Scenic Excursions.

When you consider the new logo, I want you to imagine the sun rising. This is a new era for our business—a rebirth from a global crisis that has touched us all. The sun is rising, and the road is calling you.

I am extremely excited for what the future holds for us all. Thank you so much for your continued support, it truly means so much, and it reinforces my belief as to why we are the best Coach Company.

It’s All in The Name The future of the tour departments at Niagara Scenic has an exciting change ahead. During Covid-19, our travel staff and management team planned to come out of the pandemic with a fresh, new, strong brand image. While many of our customers knew us regionally as Know How Tours, Covered Wagon Tours and Bradford Travel, we knew the best way to grow stronger and better than ever is to become ONE under the Niagara Scenic umbrella. After working closely for over a year with a college marketing program and professional branding and marketing companies, we are announcing CONFIDENTIALLY and INTERNALLY that our three tour names will soon become one.

The behind-the-scenes work has been ongoing. There is a lot of work to do before we introduce the new brand to the general public. The timing must be right. Travel during and after Covid-19 will be different and it’s important we launch a fresh, positive theme to the future of group travel.

Why | What | When WHY: Our goal with this marketing rebrand of the tour departments name and look was twofold. Firstly, we wanted continuity amongst the three regional tour departments to be consistent under one brand, Niagara Scenic. And secondly, we want to attract a new demographic to become our guests now and as lifetime customers while breathing new excitement to travel into our current guests. This new name will allow for consistency and unity for both our guests and employees.

One name, one company, one way of doing business.

The logo represents travel at its core. You can see the sun rising, the landscape and a road that leads into the horizon. While this clearly indicates what we do as a company it allows for endless opportunities to how we travel and where.

WHEN: We have been working behind the scenes in the past year to put this rebrand together. While Covid restricted business and travel, we took this time to research and start to implement this new look. We have conducted internal and external research to ensure this change will be successful.

WHAT: The new name for all three tour departments will be Scenic Excursions. The name of Niagara Scenic will not change.
