Cleaning

BLOT MUCH OF THE STAIN

If you notice a fresh ink stain, take the light-coloured rag to blot the stained area. You must not press the new stains, which may lead them deeper into the carpet. If you do not want to take a risk with the quality of your expensive carpet, hire a carpet cleaning service in Epping to deal with the tough ink stains.

SOAK THE STAINED AREA WITH ALCOHOL

Try soaking the dry stain in denatured alcohol for around five minutes. Avoid pouring too much alcohol. Let it go deeper, around half an inch. Be careful enough to ensure that the alcohol does not reach the padding under the carpet.

USE THE TOOTHBRUSH SOMETIMES

Sometimes the alcohol fails to reach some fibres. This can be well managed using an old toothbrush. You can try massaging the alcohol into the fibres affected with stains with the help of a toothbrush. Allow the alcohol to get soaked, and begin blotting as explained in the previous step.

Try wet or dry vacuuming for quick and more effective ink stain removal on your carpet. Let the carpet get soaked with alcohol on the affected area for around five minutes. Contact us
