Our mission is to empower developers, creators, and players through shared experiences and collaborative opportunities The grand opening took place on September 6th and featured prominent speakers from the Web3 realm
Among them were Shaktilyn, a Web3 Ambassador and Upland's 2023 Player of the Year; Ira X Lab, a Metaverse Creator and leader in immersive spaces on Spatial. Also Ulises of Barrio Latino, a YouTuber and metaverse enthusiast who entered Upland's metaverse in its earliest stages.
During the event, we worked hand in hand with artificial intelligence, and we had avatars and art created by AI. The inauguration was undoubtedly a success. Stay tuned for our next event, coming soon!
Shaktilyn is a Web3 Ambassador and a metaverse enthusiast within Upland's virtual world. Since her inception into the metaverse, she has dedicated her time to mastering the game's intricacies. She finds joy in teaching and aiding fellow metaverse enthusiasts comprehending the game's intricacies. Shaktilyn's reputation shines as a remarkable collaborator, consistently helping fellow community members.
In this year's Upland community elections, the Upland Metaverse community chose Shaktilyn as the 2023 Player of the Year. This choice solidified her leadership and unwavering commitment to the community and its nodes. Fondly referred to as "Shak" by friends, she is co-founder of The Toss-Shak, a design studio specializing in 3D assets and winner of the 2022 Upland Genesis Design Challenge. She is also co-founder of Ladiez MetaSoccer, an Upland Layer 2 game. Additionally, she actively contributes to projects like Creedmoor Hub USA node in Bellerose Queens, The Avenue of Fashion Detroit, IDA Monero Brasil node, UPX World, and 4th Wall Digital.

In the northern reaches of Los Angeles lies Winnetka, a neighborhood where the Barrio Latino community has blossomed into a vibrant Hispanic hub, drawing Spanish-speaking players from all corners of the world. In direct conversation with Ulises, a seasoned expert in Upland and one of the most experienced meta players in the Winnetka node, shed light on its evolution. Ulises, a long-time YouTuber covering metaverse news, has dedicated his years as a metaverse player to nurturing community growth.
