JUNE UPDATES

Subscription Green Waste Collection

The weekly Green Waste Collection Program is in full effect this spring and will continue collection through mid-December. Residents can sign up and help divert green waste from the land ll to be processed into mulch that can be purchased for use from the Salt Lake Valley and TransJordan landfills. There is a one-time start-up fee of $60 to pay for the can and a quarterly fee of $31.50 ($126 per year). A green waste can is less expensive than an additional black garbage can at $204 per year.

All items should be placed directly in the green waste can unbagged. Green Waste collection is the same day as your regular refuse and recycling day.
