Volunteers Make Murray Successful

mayor@murray.utah.gov 801-264-2600 5025 S. State Street Murray, Utah 84107

The volunteer spirit is alive and well in Murray! Earlier this month, we invited all of those who volunteer for programs, activities and organizations in Murray to a special gathering in their honor. With Thanksgiving coming up, we thought it a perfect time to say ‘THANKS’ for all they do and their willingness to serve. Here are their names so you can personally thank them when you see them!

REDUCING SPEED LIMIT The City will be reducing the speed limit east of 900 East on 5600 South, Vine Street and 6400 South to 30 mph. This is being done to make the speed limit consistent with connecting streets west of 900 East and improve safety for pedestrians, cyclists and motorist alike. Crews will begin replacing speed limit signs on Vine Street early next week and will follow with 6400 South and 5600 South. Digital message boards will be placed on each street for approximately 2 weeks to inform drivers of the change.
