MMS Students show off their various talents at a school wide talent show
The Malad Middle School students had a chance to show off their various talents when their annual talent show was held on Wednesday, May 25. The show was under the direction of Mrs. Tracy Ward. There were twelve different talents performed by a wide range of students. They also had students who were the stage crew and helped get everything ready. The Sound Technicians were Cecilee Hill and Nolan Briscoe show off what Emma Bird, Paityn Ward, they've learned this year and Adi Schow. The piano and props helpers were Jeremiah Peterson, Ethan Horsley, and Dawsyn Peterson. The performances started with a piano solo performed by Hope Briggs followed by a vocal solo titled “Call Me” performed by Dominic Rogers. Kayla Wilson performed both a piano solo titled “Lunar Eclipse'' and a Vocal Solo titled “Never Enough”. The Oneida Recreation Softball and Baseball programs continue through their second week of their 2022 summer season. The Softball oldest league had two great games this week. Since there are only two teams in this league, the girls play the same team each week. The scores for the games this week were not available by press time. The Baseball teams played Tuesday, June 7 and Thursday, June 9. The scores for majors included: Tuesday - William’s team beat Thomas’ team 12 to 10. On Thursday Thomas’ team beat Kaufman’s team 16-5. The games will continue through the month of June. Girls play on Monday and Wednesday Nights on the fields behind the Elementary School. Boys playing on Tuesday and Thursday Nights and the Malad City Park. w
