This summer, join the Army in Hawaii community for a free Hawaiian music and storytelling series featuring some of Hawai’i’s most famous musicians. The Army will host four concerts featuring songwriters and musicians - telling the stories behind the songs, playing the songs they love. This event is being offered by the U.S. Army Garrison-Hawai’i’s, Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation and the Native Hawaiian Liaison, in support of the Army’s Native Hawaiian Covenant and its goal of creating learning opportunities for the Army and Native Hawaiian community. All events take place from 6-7:30 p.m. Schedule subject to change. Admission is free and open to the public. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Richardson Pool Temporary Closure The Reopening of Richardson Pool on Schofield Barracks has been postponed until September 2013 due to unforeseen construction issues. Bunco is a game played in numerous groups of four, in which everyone is separated into tables and dice are rolled to score points. This a great to socialize and get to know everyone that is playing.
