Brothers at War
Commencing in 2013 with a tonne of Shiraz, the Brothers’ vision started as nothing more than a fun way for two boys in their twenties to occupy a weekend. In 2014, they added a parcel of Cabernet, and with that, their “Fist Fight” Shiraz and “I’m Always Right” Cabernet were born.
Picking up some other guys along the way, the Brothers’ vision has organically grown into a shared passion to create world class wines from small parcels of exceptional fruit. Now in their thirties, the Brothers are taking themselves a little more seriously after a wealth of award-winning wines and accolades. Together, this group are continuing to stake their rightful claim in wine.

“An outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity” — James Halliday AM, Australia’s foremost wine authority and critic.
The Chalk Hill heritage started with the arrival of John Harvey to Adelaide in 1839 when there were around 6,000 people living in Adelaide. John was the second person to plant grapevines north of Adelaide, preceding the birth of the Barossa and Clare wine growing regions. Six generations and 185 years later, the Harvey family continue their grape growing and winemaking heritage in McLaren Vale with Chalk Hill.
