Inspired by the traditional Valencian house, the architect projects an office building that will be the workspace for the team and the meeting area for his clients. The plot is a corner of Wilson Avenue, which will also be a co-working building to complete the office center of Santana Construction in Jinja Town.

For interior design, the objective is to create a good flow by placing the workspaces, meeting areas, and services. The design of the necessary furniture with a contrasting industrial style for the traditional building to maintain the simplicity and easy maintenance for te life of the building.

MOJO RESTAURANT 2021

Following the client's requirements, the concept for the restaurant should look like an urban design for Latin Mexican-modern cuisine. To set out the idea, I mix industrial and contemporary styles with some fresh touch to create an interior that suits the design required.

The space for the restaurant has an open layout inside with very little natural light. Due to that, light colors for the walls are proposed in different textures and placed accents with rustic material such as concrete, wood, black matte iron, leather, and natural elements like plants and warm light to highlight the decor elements.

A big house was renewed, and the owners wanted different room concepts. The general result is a sophisticated design, thanks to the finishing and aesthetic applied.

Goals:

• Design each space following the needs of users.

• Produce the drawing with measurements to build each piece of furniture adapted for each room.

• Depending on each design, accessories such as lamps, rugs, and curtains were recommended.

• Combine the whole concept for each room or space, considering the color palette of furniture, existing finishing, and light.

• Enhance the existing design.

• Create each environment with specific needs.

The challenge was to have everything in a small and split area. The design was organized in two spaces, the multi-space and the studio. The multi-space area has a lounge area for clients, a co-working desk, and a prived office that shares a kitchenette.

The shop is personalized with branding on the wall panel made with natural wood, pure forms for the furniture, and minor changes for the ceiling to highlight the areas. The wood presence gives a warm atmosphere contrasting with the room's natural light.

Goals:

• Set up a fully functioning office and production areas.

• Increase productivity

• Create good working conditions for staff

• Make it a place workers and clients want to come to the fantastic photography studio.

• 6-8 workers' capacity.

• Open concept and flexible spaces.

INNER SIDE 2017

• Interior design collection proposal for a tropical style

• Jinja, Uganda

• 19 •

Inner Side was born of two passions the nature of the materials and the spirit of creating.

Three primary materials are used in this furniture collection: wood, iron, and concrete; they give spaces harmony according to their natural characteristics. The contrasts of rustic materials and pure forms can create a cozy environment with a sober personality and industrial style.

The concept represents a tropical house that keeps the interaction of raw materials with plants in the room with unusual design and freestyle.
