mathleague Competitions Different types of mathematics, performed individually or in groups. Students from Monta Vista often qualify for States and Nationals. Science Bowl For those who love science trivia and want to compete against other schools. Happens in early February. MV placed 3rd last year. Stanford Math Tournament Compete internationally in topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Advanced Topics written by Stanford Math Majors. Happens in early February. Puzzle Hunt A weeklong puzzle and scavenger hunt with puzzles written by the MVMSC officers. Have fun and compete against other students to win! Modeled after MIT Mystery Hunt and Stanford Puzzle Hunt.
