Location : Banda Aceh Area : 10,292 m ²

Designer : Farah Mutia

anda Aceh is one of the big cities in Aceh province. Various conomic, social, and cultural objects have an impact on hange, especially in the form of the quality of the physical nvironment of an urban space that must be able to respond o a number of changes that are needed in order to provide place that facilitates various activities.

n Banda Aceh, the owners of these houses or buildings make every effort for commercial purposes. In addition, he problem found is also the estimated high land price in he city, due to the strategic location of the urban enter and easy accessibility. To answer the above roblems, a rental office is needed.

In this building, I designed a rental office and shopping center that fits the function of both the outdoor and indoor spaces so as to create an optimal space for its users.

I T Y P A R K CHILD-FRIENDLY PUBLIC OPEN SPACE Location : Bekasi Area : 6,632 m ² Designer : Farah Mutia

Based on the results of the UNICEFF study, Indonesia does not yet have a single city that is predicated as a Child Friendly City or Child Friendly City. In fulfilling the KLA indicators, one of them is by building Child Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA) as a means of fulfilling children's rights to play, learn, and interact.

URBAN CHILD SPACES

URBAN PUBLIC SPACE + CHILD FRIENDLY CITIES

DESIGN : URBAN PUBLIC SPACE ISSUE : CHILD FRIENDLY CITIES

OPEN SPACE AS A CONTAINER THAT CAN BE USED FOR THE DAILY ACTIVITIES OF RESIDENTS

Outdoor space that occurs by limiting nature and its building components uses hard elements such as pedestrians, roads, plazas, fences, and so on, as well as soft elements such as plants and water as softening elements in landscaping and is a place for cultural community activities in urban life.

Why does a city prioritize children?

First, because it is a legal obligation: under the convention, states have an obligation under international law to ensure that the best interests of the child are the primary consideration in all actions concerning children.

Recognizing and realizing all other rights for children is also a legal obligation, carried out when the state ratifies the convention.

Beyond legal imperatives, there are other compelling reasons why putting children first is in the interest of everyone in town.

FOREST CITY as a public space
PATRIOT
BANGSA

Bekasi City has several public spaces located in various sub districts, one of which is the Patriot Bina Bangsa City Forest Park in South Bekasi Regency. This City Forest has an area of 6 Ha. Inside this City Forest Park there are children's play areas, sports arenas, squares, prayer rooms, toilets, and monuments. The City Forest which is located in the middle of the City can be used as an alternative place for recreation that is worth visiting.

As a tourist attraction, this City Forest Park has other functions besides its main function as an ecological function. But in reality it is rarely used because of unresolved problems, such as elements of city parks that are less clean and less intensively maintained, and facilities that are not fully equipped. This place cannot be used at night because of insufficient lighting, so the urban forest area still looks pitch black and often becomes a gathering place for the homeless. Therefore, further research is needed on the utilization of the Patriot Bina Bangsa City Forest Park in Bekasi City.

Then examine the extent to which the utilization of the area can be utilized by the community and provide solutions related to problems that exist in the city's public spaces.
