$1.25 Million Received from J.W. and M.H. Straker Charitable Foundation for Henry D. Bullock Health and Wellness Complex As the new Henry D. Bullock Health and Wellness Complex continues to rise on our campus, we are delighted to announce that Muskingum was recently awarded $1.1 million in grant funding from the J.W. and M.H. Straker Charitable Foundation in support of the BHWC. This $1.1 million grant is in addition to last year’s $150,000 gift from the Straker Foundation, bringing their total commitment to the project to $1.25 million. The Straker Foundation grant will support the BHWC’s wellness corridor, which includes a state-of-the-art Diagnostic Hub and Fitness Center.

The 3,000-square-foot Diagnostic Hub will support training, research, and development in health and wellness. It will serve as a center for learning, workforce development, innovative research, and diagnosis and treatment services for students and area residents, through collaborative partnerships with regional healthcare providers, educational institutions, business and industry, and technology entrepreneurs. The Diagnostic Hub will feature state-of-the-art equipment and technology that focus on range of motion, metabolics, and physical performance, including both diagnostic and fitness machines with virtual functioning.
