Social Housing Complex
Housing is the core need of human beings providing shelter, safety, and privacy for them and their families. A community of such shelters where families live together that gives them security, shared space, recreational spaces, and amenities, all within close vicinity, gives rise to a neighbourhood.
Housing in cities ignores the fact that all families are unique in their ways pf life and their need for space. The housing community should cater to those needs. Variation in the typology of residential units should be encouraged, as it provides a genuine choice for families to reside in.

Landscape Trophy
Pocket parks are urban open spaces on a very small scale. These are spaces that can be created out of abandoned pieces of land or overlooked spaces.
The site for this project was tucked into the leather market zone of Dharavi - an urban slum in the centre of Mumbai, India. The site appeared to be an empty piece of land widely used by the neighbourhood community. It was used for recreation by all age groups for different purposes. The site faced an issue of unsupervised garbage disposal which if not taken care of could be hazardous for the neighbourhood. The project aimed to deal with this while not completely changing the site.
The levelled seating aims to replicate the skyline of Dharavi as well as make it more interactive for the users. The existing compound wall is redesigned to make the park more accesible to the residents and break the existing visual barrier.

Recreation by the River
The ghat along the Panchganga river in Kolhapur holds historical and cultural significance but is struggling to hold its importance in today’s time.
The design proposal was to reimagine and redesign the place in such a way that it includes functions that would make it a relevant space among the residents and not just be used as a barren spot to park cars.
Exploring the site with possible forms in sketches and experimenting with small-scale models.

1. The design is structured around a central established axis and one crossing over it diagonally 2. The functions were arranged around the axis according to their needs and necessities. Recreation by
Hierarchy of height maintained as we move away from the river (Low to High).

Pocket of spaces at different intervals, with play on light and shadow.
The cantilevered courtyard around the tree plays on the volume and breaks the massing.
Pocket of public space formed with the help of the structure.
Interesting spaces are formed by the inclined semi-circle rings.
Central enclosed space.

Professional Practice
The following offers a glimpse into the professional journey I’ve undertaken over the past two years. With one year of experience at a landscape and urban design firm, followed by another year at a practice focused on architecture and interiors, I’ve had the opportunity to develop a well-rounded and versatile skill set. I’ve chosen to showcase a diverse selection of work here, as I believe it reflects the breadth of my capabilities and the value I can bring to future projects. Each experience has shaped my design approach and deepened my understanding of spatial design across different scales and contexts.
