5 - 6pm • WORKSHOP @ Cork City Library 'Alternative techniques for advancing your music literacy' workshop. Do you have difficulties reading sheet music, but would like to advance your musical skills to the next level? This interactive workshop will help you discover new ways to approach your musical studies. Tom Mulcahy (jazz guitarist) will share the strategies he has developed, and you will also have the opportunity to explore assistive music technology. This free workshop is open to all, and may be of particular interest to musicians with dyslexia. Presented in partnership with Cork Academy of Music.

5.45 - 6.30pm WORKSHOP @ Hollyhill Library Come and enjoy a session of relaxed, inclusive music-making with the Cork Community Gamelan– a collection of Javanese metallophones and gongs, at Hollyhill Library. Presented by Music Generation Cork City, UCC, and Cork City Libraries. No musical experience necessary. Booking recommended : musicgencc.eventbrite.com. Workshop for adults and teens ages 16+
6.30 - 8.30pm WORKSHOPS @ The Kabin Studio Public rap & beats workshops with performances from local artists and open-mic at the Kabin Studio, Knocknaheeny (next to Terence McSwiney School). GMC Beats Workshops in partnership with Music Generation Cork City. Record in the vocal booth, try out some beatmaking technology or just sit back and enjoy the tunes!
