. . . Outstanding leadershi Connie Fortunato, Founder and President of Music Camp International, launched Musedics in the

Spring of 2021, as a way to help young people “heal” and “reboot” from the global pandemic of COVID.

Musedics is based on Connie’s firm conviction that all children have music inside – and when discovered and developed in a dynamic and positive community, bring dignity, hope, and self-confidence. She believes passionately that much is gained from making music “as a community of friends” rather than “learning about music” without the joy and fulfillment that experiencing music brings. Connie has taught over 50,000 students over the span of her career as a teacher, composer and conductor. She writes the curriculum and musical scores used in class. Connie is the Master Teacher for the virtual choral classes and conducts the choir and orchestra for the concerts.

Musedics is the perfect learning platform for homeschool students like Emma in the U.S.!

Connie founded Music Camp International in 2002, after 16 years of doing music camps throughout the United States. She focused her work in Ukraine and Romania, and in 19 years, worked with over 30,000 children in these countries.

In the Spring of 2020, following the global lockdowns, individual isolation, despair, hopelessness, and loneliness, Connie pivoted to a virtual format. Immediately the countries of India and Kenya joined her virtual classrooms. Now, with an eye toward developing as a global force with young people around the world, Connie is once again “enlarging her borders.” She has watched young people regain hope and community and form “one big global family” – across all barriers – and speak to the world with a compelling message – “We can do better!” Musedics does exactly that – creates a global community of youth committed to doing better through the power of music!

ip with a vision to build confidence, dignity and acceptance. From your local community to the global community - give children the chance they need to succeed! Research shows that participation in music • Motivates the achievement of high goals • Facilitates and accelerates academic achievement • Builds strong relationships • Creates emotional and psychological health • Helps young people discover that true greatness comes from within
