Alexey Sychev is a laureate of numerous international piano competitions across five continents. He is the only pianist who won three international Liszt competitions, including the First Prize at the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition WeimarBayreuth.

In 2021, he was awarded the top prize and the audience prize at the Jose Iturbi International Piano Competition.

Alexey has become a laureate of Dublin International Piano Competition and Maria Canals International Music Competition and was named the winner of the Pro Musicis International Award in Paris, France. He received First prizes at the International Piano Competition Tucumán in Argentina, Steinway Piano Competition in Germany, International Musical Competition “Dr. Luis Sigall” in Chile, World Online Piano Competition in the USA, and many others. Alexey performs regularly throughout Europe, North and South America, Japan, and Middle East. He graduated from Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Mozarteum University Salzburg, and University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
