WHAT IS LIFT? LIFT is designed to spark innovative thinking and discussion between our community educators and business leaders. LIFT is a 5-month program that takes 10 teachers (5 from each school district) out of their classrooms and into our local businesses and nonprofits. This experience highlights what jobs are available in our community and conversations heavily focus on what skillsets employers are looking for and how our teachers can implement those into their teaching strategies. LIFT allows teachers to make classroom activities and discussions more relevant to the needs of students and better prepare them for emerging business demands.
