! e m o c el WReady for news...? Hello everyone, You might ask yourself, why are we releasing a magazine? A valid question that deserves an answer, but first let us share our drive for this project.

We all hope you will enjoy this magazine and will be open for future editions. This month we have chosen to take a look at the fellowship of King of Kings 3, meaning teamwork and teamplay is set to be our focus!

Almost one month has passed since we began working on this project. Many concepts were made and some of them were scrapped to make space for even more awesome ideas. Finally, we are proud to show you the fruit of our labors.

We will have a look at a wide array of topics, including good to know information for guilds and especially for newcomers. We also give some insight into the variety of classes in the game. Besides that, this month is the month of valentine: love is in the air, the We have been thinking for a while now game and in the magazine. about the best way to put up focused information about certain topics. Of course we have the forum, but especially for a new player, its a long road to go, to click through all the threads to find the information you need. Focus has been already mentioned, as our intention is giving detailed information on “Good-To-Know” topics. For these reasons, a few of the staff decided to pool their knowledge and make the King of Kings 3 Magazine. It was a monumental task, that took a lot of work, effort and time, to get it to a point we can say, “it is as great as we can make it”. We already have new ideas, which we got during the process of making the magazine as well as new information just waiting to be written.

A guild is a bunch of players, working together, mostly with the aim of creating a legion with other guilds and to establish a kingdom later on. As guild member you have some benefits: • • • •

t h g i l t o p Sforming a guild Once you reach level 20, you’ll be able to join an existing guild or create one. The following article will give you a short overview about how to form a guild, however, you may also consider joining an existing one. Benefits of joining an already existing guild

Established guilds already have members. Especially newcomers benefit from their knowledge about the game. Some adventure quests might already be available as some of them depend on the guild level. Further the guild could already be part of a legion or kingdom. Once you have decided to take on the challenge of forming your own guild, be sure to meet the requirements.

If you have read the quest text carefully, you may already know them. For those of you who like to click and skim, here is a quick summary of the requirements needed. Requirements

Skarabare, (155, 198) Once you have found this NPC you are close to having your own guild. Talk to the Npc and choose “About Guilds”, then click (you might already have guessed it) “I want to establish a Guild”. After entering your new guilds name of up to 8 characters, you are done! Congratulations! You’re now a guild owner!

t h g i l t po Sguild tab overview To keep track of all the information of your guild, you can open the community window. Here is information about everything related to your community such as, Friends, Enemies, Blacklist, Guild, Kingdom or Legion and Realm. Choose the Guild tab for now!

The level of your guild when starting is 1 and can go up to 5. Press “O” and switch to the “Guild”Tab to check the current prestige of your guild. You will also the see: 1. Guild name, 2. Number of finished Daily Quests, 3. Current / maximum members in your guild. 4. Level of

your guild and how much prestige needed for the next level.

5. Add Member, recruit new members to your guild. 6. Guild NPC, if

you have a guild npc you can use this button the travel or walk to the npc. 7. Guild Bulletin Board, add text by clicking the button “Send”. 8. Help, if you want more information about guild related featurs, you can find it here. 9. Leave guild, makes you leave your current guild. 5.

t h g i l t o p Sleveling a guild Increasing your guilds level will give you more possibilities like a guild Npc, special vitality quests and finally once you reach level 3 you can form a legion. But what’s the best way to get there? First you can do guild quests. The “Guild Quest Officer” in Skarabare (222,186) will give you 3 kinds of quests that you can do as a guild. • Delivery: Element Realm • Supply Line Attack • Steal realm energy Delivery: Element Realm

Is a donkey escort to Element Realm and very guild member can take part. After accepting the quests, all nearby guild members have 30 seconds to confirm the start of the quest, to take part. Every guild member must pay a small fee, depending on his or her level. After handing in the quest you will receive a great amount of experience, guild prestige and the double amount of the fee as reward. Guild lucky stars and loose time can increase the experience gained. Supply Line Attack

After accepting this quest, all nearby guild members have 30 seconds to confirm the start of the quest, to take part. The quest giver will tell you a randomly chosen realm you have to

kill a guild donkey escort of. After handing in the quest you will receive a great amount of experience and guild prestige. Steal realm energy

Each member has to be at least level 40 in order to teleport to another realm. After choosing a specific realm to steal from, every guild member has 30 seconds to confirm the start of the quest, to take part. Go to your realms Element Corridor to the “Realm Teleporter” (143, 122) and switch to the realm you have chosen. In Mercenary Camp you will find the “Soul Pilferer”(199,159). Once your guild leader/ deputy has spoken to him, the quest is finished. On handing in the quest you will receive a great amount of experience, guild prestige and realm energy donated to your realm. Calculate Cash

Requires an amount of crowns depending on the level of the different guild members. If you aren’t sure if you have enough, click the Guild Quest Officer and choose calculate cash. You will then be told how much you need to deposit. It’s not required to be in a party for this type of quest. The ingredient buyer

t h g i l t po Sguild npcs When you reach level 20, you’ll be able to join an existing guild or create one. The following article will give you a short overview about how to form a guild, however, you may also consider joining an existing one. Benefits of having an Npc

• When resting near your guild

Npc you get free exp. • Free Classic Pandora boxes every 60mins from 12:00 to 00:00 Deputies of the guilds can pick up a small salary at the Npc once a day. Special amount of exp can be given to all guild members present at the Npc once a day. Things to remember

There is a limited amount of Npc’s available in a realm: 8 Npc’s in Skarabare 2 Npc’s in Forest Hunting Grounds 2 Npc’s in Crystal Lakeside 8 Npc’s in Red Stone Town

Npc’s will not be yours forever. Other guilds will have full right to declare war against any Guild Npc they see. Also if your realm gets invaded there is a chance that one or more Npcs will die.

Ways to get an Npc 1. If the Npc is named “Guild Foot-

hold” it means that no guild has taken it yet. 2. If the Npc has a guild name, it can only be taken by “Registering for Battle” against the guild who already control’s the Npc. Requirements

Your guild needs to be level 2 20 silver crowns Only guild leaders can claim a Guild Npc or apply for guild battle. Go to the Npc you want to get, talk to it, and you will be able to register for battle. Registration for Guild Npc’s will close at 16:00. If the Npc is owned by another guild you will get an in game mail containing information regarding when you will have to fight for it. Fights will always take place at 20:00 game time at the location of the Guild Npc. The guild with the most members alive at the end will win the Npc and a small amount of guild prestige.

t h g i l t o p SAdventures Adventure Quest’s (or AQ’s for short) will concentrate on the amount of prestige you gain as well as exp, depending on the quest you choose and your level. You may also gain Soul Crowns, and within the quest you have the opportunity to gain loot as well. Keep in mind that all of the above is not the case for all quests. Primary

Quest Types: Search, Special, Escort, Killing, Guarding Levels: E, D, and C Reward: About 45 to 950 Guild Prestige. Intermediate

Quest Types: Assault, Delivery, Special, Escort, Killing Levels: B, A Reward: About 1300 to 6100 Guild Prestige.

Advanced

Quest Type: Boss Level: SP Requirements: You have to be at the level of the instance or above Reward: About 216 to 4560 Guild Prestige. SP-level

Quest Type: Instance Level: SP Requirements: The higher your guilds level the more quests will be available. Reward: 432, 1080 and 2240 of Guild Prestige. All quests can be found at the “Primary Quest Giver” (146, 196) and “Secondary Quest Giver” (175, 205). If you want to know more about those quests, talk to the Npc and click the quest you wish to know more about. All quests require that you have the following fulfilled: • That you are in a guild • That you have vitality points • For instances you need a party with at least 2 members.

What are combat points?

By pressing “C” you will see an overview of your character by clicking the tab marked “Property”. The Combat heading in the property tab represents the amount of combat points you currently have. Finishing adventure quests will increase the amount of combat points you possess. What are vitality points?

Visit either “Primary Quest Giver”(146, 196) or “Secondary Quest Giver”(175, 205) to check the amount of “Adventure Vitality” you have available. Every day at 00:00 your vitality points will be reset. The higher your level the more Adventure Quests you will be able to do each day, however, to get vitality points, you must be a member of a guild.

Fanatic Fan Boys Early on you will get the “Yuni’s House” and “The Missing Fanatic Fan Boys” quest. If you don’t know how to get them completed we will give you a few tips and tricks to get through what might be your first adventure quest! Preparations

Getting the quests

Talk to Christine, in Skarabare (151,199), she will tell you about her friend Yuni, who has been lost and you will get the “Yuni’s house quest”. Speak to Christine once more and she will also give you “The Missing Fanatic Fan Boys” quest.

You should hold off on attacking them until all of your party members are there. When everyone has arrived, only kill the Fanatic Fan Boys (Lv.18) as they are the ones spawning the Void Soul mobs, which drops the “Void Soul Crystal” quest item.

The first time you do this adventure quest, it will involve a lot of branch quests. First you need to talk to the following npcs: • Rich Boy, Holar (178, 24) • Gatekeeper (169, 26) • Don’t talk to Mi yet! Now have a look at your Quest Log (Shortcut: Press L), to keep track of all the quests you have received. After talking to these npcs you should have the following quests: • The missing fanatic fan boys • Yunis’ House (Completed) • Dreaming of School • Secret Diary in the Libary

Objective: Look at the Exam Results Notice Boards (144, 36) also at the other Notice Board (132, 36) to accept a new quest called: • Repeat Exam List

Objective: Obtain the Diary from the Disorderly Bookshelf (124, 23) and obtain new quest: • Secret in the Bookcase 7. Secret in the Bookcase

Always check if you got some loot by clicking the “SP Chest”. If there is loot, talk to “Hades’ Messenger” to share it with your party members. When that is done you need to talk to Academy Tutor Dundory to leave the instance. Completing the quests

First you will have to go to Gumbaxter (165,193) to complete the adventure. 16.

The Holy Fighter

After the warrior upholds and increases his faith, he learns sacred strength. His methods with devils are superior and the holy light of protection aids him in his fight against evil. “To help others and fight for justice at any time!” is his creed. He may not be the strongest warrior, but with endless staying power he can help others survive even when fighting against the strongest enemy. The Background and Advancements

The Holy Fighter originates from the Warrior class. At level 50 the next class choice would be Ranger and at level 120 you will be able to choose the path of the Holy Fighter. Main Purpose

The Holy Fighter is a great addition to any party. He does not have many buffs, but the ones he has grant great advantages. This class does not deal a high amount of damage but has a great tank ability which should not be underestimated. Clothing:

The Holy fighter is a holy class, with a damage advantage over demon classes. Special Skills

A few skills that are worth mentioning are the following:

Thunder Shield - lvl 130

Physical defence and block rate increased. You also become more resistant to electrical and war god damage.

Angel Tears - lvl 160

Restores the health of your party members while enemies will have their damage reduced for a short amount of time.

Mirror Image - lvl 175

The skill creates a mirror image of yourself which grants you extra damage. They also do additional war god damage. Advantages for PvE

Though he is a tanking class, when against bosses or in instances he really shines. Holy Fighters should always take the lead position in the party to get the benefits of the skill “Leadership”. Advantages for PvP

His strength lies in his many skills that make him versatile when it comes to keeping himself alive and luring his enemy to choose him as a target, in place of his team.

Q: Where can I find Purple Stone Shards and what do I need them for? Purple Stone Shards are items which are necessary to upgrade your items from green to purple. You can trade 50 of them for a God Wish at the Pandora Exchanger. The shards can be obtained in the new daily dungeons and as reward when killing a Divine Beast (related to your ranking during the fight). Q: why is my supply delivery quest not working? When you get the message â&#x20AC;&#x153;Your talents ...â&#x20AC;? then there can be two reasons for this: you already did your deliveries of the day. 2nd you forgot to talk to the Flour Maker(180,40) in Green Sea to get the scroll and complete the quest. 1st

Q: What does the Weapon Resonance Master do? When you talk to this guy you are able to carry the resonance link between weapons, shileds or bucklers with a necklace. This means that if you have a weapon that asks for a Fallen Wing Necklace but the Necklace you have is called Scarred Necklace, you can go to this npc to correct the required name in the weapon or shield. This does not affect anything else but the name! Q: what does insufficient weapon skill mean? You will need to add more skill points to your class weapon skill.

Q: Where do I get a purple weapon from? Goto Redstone Town (164,66), talk to the npc called “Purple Weapon Exchanger” he will give you the quest “Purple Stone Weapons”. When completed, it will give you a “12 starred purple weapon voucher”.

Q: Where did the rest of my shillings go? When you want to buy or sell shillings there are a few things you will have to pay attention to.

Q: What are Divine Beasts & where can I find them? Divine Beasts are special bosses which will appear once a week in a special kingdoms habitat. The kingdom will be chosen regarding the weekly Shillings and monstercard donations.

If you buy or sell for more than what the trading volume is, the market will make a new Transaction offer holding the last trading volume that did not get bought or sold.

Always check after, how much the trading volume is!

You will then have to wait for another player to buy or sell this amount before you get the rest of your money.
