Lirs Inaugura Nuevo Centro De Bienvenida En Baltimore

El Servicio Luterano de Inmigración y Refugiados (LIRS) inauguró su nuevo Centro de Bienvenida en Baltimore con una ceremonia de inauguración en su sede de Inner Harbor el pasado 13 de junio.

El Centro de Bienvenida de Baltimore conectará a refugiados y solicitantes de asilo con servicios comunitarios y sociales, asistencia legal, educación y atención médica mientras reconstruyen sus vidas. El Centro de Bienvenida también contará con apoyo de salud mental, ya que muchos niños y familias han experimentado traumas en sus países de origen y en su viaje a los EE. UU.

Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MDHCC) and Latino Providers Network MD (LPN) Join Forces to Empower Hispanic Entrepreneurs in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area

6/26/23, SBL News.-The Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MDHCC) and the Latino Providers Network (LPN) are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation (MOU) on June 26,2023.

This historic agreement solidifies a partnership aimed at advancing the interests of #Hispanic entrepreneurs in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area and fostering a stronger and more unified Hispanic business community.

The MDHCC and LPN, while maintaining their separate legal identities, structures, boards of directors, officers, and staff, will work together cooperatively to develop activities, events, and programs that benefit both organizations and their respective members. By collaborating, MDHCC and LPN seek to provide unparalleled support, resources, and opportunities to Hispanic entrepreneurs, promoting their growth and success.

Key areas of collaboration under the MOU include Cooperative Activities: MDHCC and LPN will work jointly and separately to organize events, networking activities, and programs that foster a greater sense of unity within the Hispanic business community.

Website Presence: Each organization will actively promote the events of the other on their respective websites and newsletters, ensuring wider visibility and engagement opportunities for their members.

Activities, Seminars, and Workshops: MDHCC and LPN will extend exclusive benefits to each other’s members by offering business seminars, workshops, or membership events at the lowest published cost charged to their own membership. Membership

Integration: MDHCC will integrate the members of LPN into its system and establish an Associate Member Category, ensuring a smooth transition and enhanced networking opportunities for LPN members within MDHCC.

With this MOU, MDHCC and LPN affirm their commitment to supporting the growth, empowerment, and success of Hispanic entrepreneurs in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area.

By leveraging their individual strengths and resources, these two esteemed organizations are poised to make a lasting impact on the Hispanic business community.
