FROM THE BEGINNING

Ieva Juodelytė - mother of 5 children. Founder of mummymoon, Motula, Zebra I Can See, and women are poems brands.

After graduating interior design at Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts, Ieva took the path of cinema. She created a short film and won in the best art director category. Later worked with the world-known Šarūnas Bartas as a film art director, and later moved to the costume department, where she created costumes for various characters.

With her first child, while expecting the second, Ieva and her family lived in Norway, where the first clothes were made looking at the fjords. The first models and the idea of creating clothes were born on a rocky slope.

Starting with exclusive mummymoon brand Ieva traveled visiting world exhibitions (Paris, London, NY, Florence). She was looking for her own calling, something that would respond to the concept of life. Nature and the luxury of enjoying its slowness. Certainty and conscious life. Her children and the chosen Waldorf pedagogy for them and of course poetry and its presence in all chapters of life. This is how the need to create the linen brand Motula was born. This is how a woman's prototype was born in a new project in which Ieva consistently pursued the woman of her vision. The one who values herself, respects and accepts the other, learns from mistakes, finds herself in motherhood, for which the family is one of the greatest values, but next to that has time for creativity, when a woman can realize herself and give ideas to the world. One of them is Motula. Tenderness, clarity, quality and slow luxury, when the beloved product becomes not just a thing, but a creation, a feeling, a wish. This is Motula's great path and task.

Motula offers not only a completely crafted dress, but also quality, idea and philosophy of life. All this mix is equally important from the beginning of the idea to every part of its production. To finish, to communicate and present, at first sight simple dress requires slow time and dedication. All this time is full of corrections, constant consultations with the constructor, search for fabric, but most importantly - there is no savings in it.

Starting from the idea, the fabric is materializing into the tilted edges, increased pockets, decorative details, packaging, hang tags and poetry wishes. Everything is equally important and necessary. Because Motula's woman cares about a diverse quality. Therefore, Motula represents itself as a natural luxury brand.

Besides, Ieva was the costume designer in a movie “2 Nights Till Morning” with a world famous actress Marie-Josee Croze, winning best movie art designer award.

After career in movie business, Ieva went on a personal creativity journey, where all experiences were transformed into dresses, photo shoots and other ideas.

The most important Ieva’s creativity criteria are quality, beauty and esthetics, poeticism, which infuse into modern world.
