Overview of Cloud Computing Cloud computing enables organizations to store their data in logical pools without the need to build and operate their own data center. It stores the data or information on multiple servers that can be accessed through a computer system and the Internet. It consists of a certain framework and a set of functions that clients can modify and use to develop their own applications.  Software as a Service (SaaS): It is the most common type of cloud service used by small scale companies as they generally don't require specialized knowledge for day-to-day operation and maintenance.
