Music Therapy Resources

Music has proven to help elevate our consciousness and provide us with relaxation. As a tool for meditation, music takes us to different places, helps us imagine new worlds, and activates our creative selves. Much has been said about people of color not having enough access to these mindfulness practices, let alone having easy access to mental health services. July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, and as such, we want to provide you with some links to help you learn more about the universe of music therapy. Click on the links (underlined) to find out more!

The MMG Executive Team Meets Up to Discuss Next Year's Programming

July started strong at the Multicultural Music Group's (MMG) headquarters in the Bronx. The Executive Team has been meeting up, under the leadership of Executive Director Luis Mojica, to go over next year's expectations. Many new countries and geographies will be the center of attention for the year, and we can't wait to share all the details with you!

One of the primary purposes this year will be to increase our audience. Your help, dear reader, will be of the utmost importance as we want to spread the word about what we've been doing for almost 30 years! Share our newsletters, events, and anything MMG related with your friends and family. Our community, you, are central to this endeavor.

Please remember that an extensive repository of our work is available on our webpage. Please go here to learn more.
