Janell Kloosterman Principal Mullen Families: On Monday, October 3rd I had the opportunity to speak to the student body to kick off Mullen High School’s 85th Homecoming. I would like to share the words that I spoke because it is a message that holds true for the entire community. “Mustangs we gather today to celebrate Mullen High School’s 85th. Homecoming. Without each and everyone of you Mullen High School is just a building; nothing more than brick and

mortar; nothing more than a shell. Because of each of you this place is a school; a Lasallian school where each of you are given the opportunity to find happiness, grow in understanding, and learn. So this is what this week is about- a place that is not just a building but a home. A home where all is welcome and where we work together to make each other better. So freshmen as you wear your beanies, remember this your official welcome to our Lasallian home. The Lasallian home where you will find doors that will open you to a world that is filled with opportunity, love and respect. Seniors, after four years, I pray that you have already found this to be a home; a place where you have been treated with love and respect and given opportunities so that you
