ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

YAYASAN IMAM IBN ALJAZARY MOSQUE

Pekanbaru, Riau, (2020)

This is a project for the construction of a tahfidz quran Islamic boarding school. The client wants to design a mosque with a minimalist and modern concept.

BUILDING MASS

To create a minimalist and modern concept, we start from the simplest form, the box. Then we do a subtraction to create a building that is simple in form but can accommodate the needs of the client.

GROUND FLOOR PLAN

PASSIVE COOLING

The upper floor of the building is intended for multipurpose activities and does not use air conditioning. To maximize passive cooling on the top floor of the mosque, the building facade uses sun shading with a laser cut Islamic pattern.

SYEIKH YAYASAN IIA HOUSE

The client of this project is a person who works as an ustadz. Apart from being a place to live, this house is also used as a place for religious activities.

CONCEPT

The client wanted a simple house design with lots of large openings for natural ventilation and natural light. So it can reduce the use of air conditioning and artificial lighting during the day. The entrance between akhwat (woman) and ikhwan (man) must be different to follow religious advice.

Coffee shop has become part of the life of the current generation. In every city, new coffee shops have started popping up with various concepts on offer. In an era where the development of social media is growing rapidly, coffee shops are not just a place to enjoy coffee. In fact, the coffee shop has become a place for various other activities such as working, just taking selfies, hanging out, etc. Therefore, we tried to design a coffee shop that could accommodate the changing function of a coffee shop in this modern era.

CONCEPT

The concept of this building mass applies one of the concepts of Japanese architecture, buildings that surround an opening/garden area. The mass of the main building is also divided into two, the restaurant area and the service area. The main reason for dividing the building mass into two is to avoid massive building masses and structures so that they can save more on the budget.

Bangunan eksisting menjadi shading untuk coffee shop.

Penghijauan di outdoor area berfungsi sebagai peneduh.

Coffee shop ditempatkan di depan karena langsung bersebrangan dengan jalan yang mempunyai potensi keramaian.

Area bekas tempat pencucian mobil difungsikan sebagai area musholla dan parkir mobil.

Area pencucian mobil dibuat lebih panjang ke belakang.

Japanese Minimalist Style

Minimalism is the key of this coffee shop design concept. So, the application of Japanese interior style is perfect for showing a minimalist impression.

ISTANA YATIM ROKAN HULU

This is a project for the construction of a orphanage boarding school. The client wants to design a orphanage with a minimalist and modern concept.

To maximize the land and to accommodate the activities of the students, the U-shape layout with an open space in the middle is surrounded by buildings for indoor activities. open space can be used for multipurpose activities and outdoor activities. So, all the activities of the santri are concentrated and separated from the outside.

PERAWANG HOUSE

Perawang, Riau (2021)

MODERN TROPICAL

The main concept of this house is modern tropical. in accordance with the wishes of clients who want a design like a house in Bali. The modern tropical concept is characterized by a box-shaped buildings with play on linear details and lots of openings for natural ventilation and lighting.

The design of this mosque takes the design of the Nabawi Mosque in Mecca as a design reference. The design module uses a custom GRC.

STUDIO SEKAT APARTMENT

Jakarta (2022)

The concept applied to the interior design of this apartment is a modern Japanese concept. This can be seen from the use of wood material in most of the rooms and the simple design style to show a minimalist impression.

The client wants a design that is different from the general government office concept. The client wanted a modern office design with a recreational feel.

This is a project when I did my internship at Angkasa Architect. I did two interior design for the house of one of the Indonesian YouTubers, Arif Muhammad.

KID BEDROOM

This child's room will be used for babies. So, the style for the interior of this child's room will be made more playful and recreational by using wallpaper with a playful theme and unique furniture with a recreational impression.

MASTER BATHROOM

Luxury style is the main theme for this master bathroom design. The use of marble material with a combination of dark wood and black duco gives the impression dark luxury.

KID BEDROOM OF MRS. L HOUSE

The concept applied to the interior design of this bedroom is a classic modern concept. The use of simple molding combined with a modern style and pastel colors gives a luxurious and girly impression.

The concept of this interior design is modern luxury. The impression of luxury is obtained from the combination of white and gold.

CIBUBUR HOUSE

Cibubur (2023)

The concept of this interior design is classic modern. The challenge of this design is how to combine the classic modern design with the tropical style of the house.
