creative team JOSHUA LARSON (Education Director/Staging Director) is excited

to be the first-ever Education Director with Music Theatre Wichita! He is eager to take his experience over the past 15 years and create a robust educational program at MTWichita. Joshua is also a choreographer and director and at MTWichita he has worked as the staging director for the Teen Choir (2006-present); director/choreographer of Festival of Broadway (2008-2010, 2014-present) and Curtain Up! (2013-2019); and choreographer/adjudicator for the dance portion of MTWichita’s national audition tour (2013-2019). Joshua has also worked as a choreographer at Wichita State University, Friends University, and at various high schools, studios, organizations, and theatres in and around the Wichita area. Joshua received his undergraduate degree in dance performance from Oklahoma City University and his Master of Liberal Arts (with a theatre concentration) from Baker University.

In his free time, Joshua enjoys taking pottery classes and traveling.

EMILY STERNFELD-DUNN (Teen Choir Musical Director) made

her theatrical debut as Fern in Charlotte's Web at Trace Elementary in San Jose, CA. Since that first taste of the spotlight she has continued to perform, while helping others find their singing voice. Emily has been on faculty teaching voice at Southwestern College, Washington State University, and Wichita State University and maintains a private studio. Regionally Emily's students perform with Music Theatre Wichita, Wichita Grand Opera, Wichita Chorale, Crown Uptown, the Forum, and Roxy’s. Her students are nationally competitive, having won awards through KCATF and NATS. Emily has been featured as a soloist with the Mid-Columbia Symphony, Wichita Symphony Orchestra, Wichita Choral Society, Opera Kansas, Hartford Opera Theater, Connecticut Concert Opera, Idaho Washington Symphony, and the Palouse Choral Society. Emily holds music degrees from California State University-Hayward, Washington State UniversityPullman, and the University of Hartford.

creative team BRIAN J. MARCUM (Artistic Director) is honored to lead MTWichita alongside Managing Director Angela Cassette. Originally from Tennessee, Brian spent his early years tap dancing, singing in the church choir, and performing whenever he could. After graduating from Oklahoma City University with a degree in dance performance, Brian spent two summers as an MTW resident ensemble member learning from the master himself, Wayne Bryan. With that arsenal of knowledge under his belt, Brian was able to make a life for himself as a working actor in New York City. Brian was in the original Broadway companies of The Gershwins’ Fascinating Rhythm, Saturday Night Fever, the 2001 TONY winning revival of 42nd Street and The Boy from Oz starring Hugh Jackman. Brian also appeared on Broadway as a replacement in The Drowsy Chaperone and Spamalot. Brian, along with his wife Jennifer, toured the country with State Fair and Annie Get Your Gun. Brian was the Associate Choreographer of Elf-The Musical on Broadway. He has been seen on television on the TONY awards (twice) and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (thrice). After Broadway, Brian turned his attention to education and became an Associate Professor of Dance in the Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment at Oklahoma City University (his alma mater) for 7 years and an Assistant Professor of Musical Theater at Syracuse University for 4 years. In 2015 during his time at OCU he was invited back to MTW to choreograph Hello, Dolly! and every season since he has been back. In 2020, Brian wrote, directed and choreographed MTW’s Holiday Spectacular for the local PBS station, KPTS, and was nominated for an EMMY. He is ecstatic to be in this new role of artistic director. Honoring what was came before him, Brian is immensely grateful to be able to share his love, excitement and knowledge with MTW audiences. Brian and Jennifer and their children Sophie and Felix love calling Wichita home!

Credits include: MTWichita: Twelfth Night (Dance Captain), Grease (Sonny), In the Heights (Graffiti Pete), Chicago (Fred Casely/Dance Captain), A Chorus Line (Mike Costa), An American in Paris, Pippin, Freaky Friday, Guys and Dolls (Dance Captain), Newsies (Morris Delancey) and others; Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma: West Side Story. Anthony would love to recognize his family, fiancé, and God for their continued love and support!

STONE MOUNTAIN is so grateful to make his Music Theatre Wichita debut this season! Stone has worked regionally with The Lexington Theatre Company in their productions of Newsies and Sondheim on Sondheim. Stone would like to thank his family and friends for all their love and support! @stone_cold_mountain CHARLES ANTENEN is a rising senior pursuing a BFA in music

theatre at Florida State University. Previous credits include Chicago (Policeman), The Queen of Nori (Engineer), Newsies (Finch/Dance Captain), and Cinderella (Ensemble). He would like to thank his family for all their love and support.

RODNEY THOMPSON he/him is overjoyed to be making his Music Theatre Wichita debut. He is a dance performance major at Oklahoma City University. Regional: Grease (ensemble) Titanic (Choir ensemble) at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma.
