MEET THE CAST DREW LACHEY (Charlie), a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, is best

known for his multi-platinum pop group 98 Degrees, which sold over 10 million records worldwide and achieved eight top 40 singles in the United States. He also appeared on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and was crowned Season 2 Champion. A Broadway veteran, Drew starred as Mark Cohen in Jonathan Larson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning musical RENT, and as King Arthur’s right-hand man, Patsy, in Mike Nichol’s Tony award-winning production of Monty Python’s Spamalot. Other onstage work includes Corny Collins in Hairspray and the Dancing with the Stars tour. In addition to other roles in television and film, Drew also hosted ABC’s Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann, HGTV’s $250,000 Dollar Challenge, America Sings for the Gospel Music Channel, The Price is Right- Live, Let’s Make a Deal-Live and the Miss USA Pageant. Drew currently lives in Cincinnati where he, along with his wife Lea, created and run Lachey Arts, a performing arts non-profit.

KENNETH MOSLEY (Lola/Simon) is an actor, singer, writer,

producer, and host. Broadway national tours: Kinky Boots (Lola) and Motown the Musical (Berry Gordy, Jr.). Select theatre roles: Memphis, Hairspray, Sister Act. Film: Don’t Tell Larry and Searching. HAILEY HYDE (Nicola) is a senior studying music, dance, and

JESS ZYLSTRA (Lauren) is from Sydney, Australia. She is a rising

senior at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music (CCM). Jess has recently appeared in CCM’s productions of Pippin (Player, Dance Captain, and Assistant Choreographer), 42nd Street (Ensemble), and Bright Star (Swing). She was also seen in The Carnegie’s production of The Sound of Music (Sister Margaretta). Jess is very excited to be working in Wichita this summer and would like to thank her family and friends for their continued support. 15


MEET THE CAST DAVID LOWENSTEIN (George) is a professor at Syracuse

University. Credits include Broadway: The Frogs, Seussical, On the Town, 1776 (Joseph Hewes), King David, A Christmas Carol, Jerome Robbins’ Broadway. Off-Broadway: Howard Crabtree’s Whoop-Dee-Doo!, The Truth about Ruth, Anything Cole, Lady Be Good (Birdie). National Tours: Company (Paul), 42nd Street (Andy Lee), Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, On Your Toes. David’s voice is featured in the animated feature Anastasia.

THOM MILLER (Don) is an actor, accent/text coach, and professor at Syracuse University. A proud member of AEA and SAG/AFTRA, he has acted Off-Broadway and in some of the best regional theaters across the country as well as in independent films and commercials. Love to Kate and Forrest.

GINGER CHANEL JOHNSON (Trish) is a senior MT major at

the University of Oklahoma. She is delighted to be playing Trish! Previous OU credits include: Mimi, A New Brain; Ilse, Spring Awakening; Chorale Member, OKC’s Philharmonic Christmas Show. Much love to family and friends <3.

TOM WINE (Mr. Price) is more often seen from the back as choir

director at Wichita State University and Eastminster Church. Tom is delighted to return to MTW after 15 years (Seven Brides, HS Musical). You may remember him from Spangles commercials or Words and Music with the Forum. Proud Grand Dude. Thanks to Mary and the fam.

LIZA PICCOLI (Pat) is thrilled to be back for a fourth summer

with Music Theatre Wichita! This spring, she graduated with her BFA in Dance from Point Park University. Liza has performed in 13 MTW productions and some of her favorites include A Chorus Line (Kristine), Chicago (Hunyak), and Pippin (Player). She would like to thank her friends and family for being the best and most supportive people in the world! 16


MEET THE CAST STONE MOUNTAIN (Harry) is so grateful to make his Music Theatre Wichita debut this season! Stone has worked regionally with The Lexington Theatre Company in their productions of Newsies and Sondheim on Sondheim. AARON PROFIT (Simon Sr.) is of Wichita Kansas, alumni of East

high and Butler CC. Aaron is the associate producer; One Man, Two Guvnors. He is one of the founding members of The Forum and has been a member of the artistic team since 2011. Prior to his association with The Forum, he was the head designer in the Special Event Department at The Design Center in Wichita. He is a multiple time Mary Jane Teall Award nominee and winner for both Property Management and Acting. Aaron has received city-wide recognition for his appearance in Noises Off, The Full Monty, A Christmas Carol, One Man Two Governors, Man of La Mancha, Blues in the Night, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Memphis, The Royale, Ghost and The Agitators.

BEAU BAXTER (Young Charlie), age 8, will be 3rd grader at Robert Martin Elementary in Andover, KS. Credits include: MTYP’s Frozen Jr. in 2022. Big brother to Millie, piano student of Dr. Meg Gray, vocal student of Amy Menas, wrestler, and baseball player. Theater family: Aunt Caroline Bowman (currently Elsa in Frozen Broadway National Tour) and Uncle Austin Colby (Hans in Frozen).

THOMAS BARTKOSKI (Young Lola/Simon) is a rising second grader in USD 259. He enjoys reading and math, building with LEGOs, and playing video games. He recently voiced the role of Danny in Guild Hall Player’s production of Rabbit Hole. This is his first onstage performance. 17

LOGAN BECKER (Swing) (he/him) is making his Music Theatre

Wichita debut. Other recent credits include Pajama Game (Ensemble) and Head Over Heels (Dametas) at the Chicago College of Performing Arts. From Omaha, Nebraska, Logan is now a Junior at CCPA studying musical theater with a dance concentration.

Julius Thomas III is an NAACP Theatre Award-nominated actor from Gary, Indiana. He graduated from Wichita State University in 2005 and was inducted into the College of Fine Arts Hall of Fame in 2020. He stars as Alexander Hamilton in the And Peggy Tour of Hamilton. He is one half of the critically acclaimed entertainment team, The Kings of Soul & Swing. Recently Julius has appeared as the lead of the mega box office hit, Motown The Musical, as Berry Gordy. passionate conductor with a long history with MTWichita. He has performed hundreds of productions nationally and internationally. Highlights include conducting Webber’s Phantom of the Opera in Switzerland. Thomas is currently the Artistic Director of the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh and has conducted the symphony orchestras in San Diego, Pittsburgh, Des Moines, Wichita and Seattle; as well as at the Anchorage Opera and the Pittsburgh Festival Opera. CHUCK KOSLOWSKE (Associate Music Director) is thrilled to

return to MTWichita this summer! He has been music director/ keyboardist for many productions in Oklahoma City, Boulder, and elsewhere. He made his New York debut in 2002 at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall. Charles earned degrees in collaborative piano and vocal performance and pedagogy from the University of ColoradoBoulder and is currently faculty at Oklahoma City University.

JORDAN SLUSHER (Scenic Coordinator) is a Wichita local and a graduate of Wichita State. Recent scenic and projection design credits include: Frozen Jr. with MTYP; MTWichita’s Mirette, Grease, Red, White and Broadway; Ballet Wichita’s Sleeping Beauty; Osage Ballet’s The Nutcracker; and the Opera Kansas premiere of Staggerwing. MEET THE ARTISTIC STAFF MICHAEL COLE (Lighting Designer) is an international lighting

designer based in New York City. He has worked as a designer for dance, opera, theatre and musical theatre through Europe and the United States. He graduated with two consecutive BFA’s from The University of Oklahoma: Musical Theatre Performance & Lighting Design. Since college, he has worked on various tours and OffBroadway productions as an associate as well as designing. JAMIE R. URBAN (Costume Coordinator) (she/her) is currently the Costume Studio Manager at the University of Kansas. Although she was raised in Kansas, her education and professional work have taken her across the country. After graduating with an MFA in Costume Design and Production from Boston University, she traveled to Austin, TX where she started a theatre company, Sustainable Theatre Project; was the Wardrobe Mistress, show manager, and designer for Ballet Austin; and then began her career in higher education by becoming the Costume Shop Manager at Southwestern University. She’s spent time working in the costuming field in Orlando, Chicago, North Dakota, and California. Jamie has two awesome pups, Mason and Josie, that keep her hands full when she’s not working on costumes. JOSHUA HARRIS (Hair/Makeup Designer) is excited to be back for his 6th summer season with MTWichita. Most recently Josh was the Head of Hair and Makeup on the 21-22 National Tour of Hairspray. Additionally, he was the Head of Hair and Makeup on the National Tour of a Bronx Tale, has worked with KCFashion week, and has worked on multiple commercials locally. Some favorite projects from his past 5 seasons include In the Heights, Chicago, and the MTWichita Holiday Special.

MEET THE ARTISTIC STAFF DAVE MUEHL (Sound Designer) MTWichita’s primary sound designer. During MTWichita’s “off season,” David works for Wichita State, where he is the Performance Facilities Audio Producer and advises technical theater student sound designers. Some of his favorite sound designs have been for The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Into the Woods, Les Misérables, and The Wizard of Oz. BRADY FLOCK (Property Master) is thrilled to be back with MTW for his 4th season. A graduate of WSU, Brady has been building props professionally for over a decade for live theatre, film, escape rooms, and even renaissance festivals. Currently, Brady is pursuing his master’s degree at North Carolina School of the Arts. AMANDA BOWMAN (Company Manager) started her career

with MTWichita as an apprentice in 2005 and has had numerous titles since then. She joined the Music Theatre Wichita team fulltime as development & marketing coordinator in 2019, and began her current role in 2022. Amanda is a Wichita native and Wichita State alum. She has worked all over the country as a stage manager and is thrilled to be back home working with the best teams in the business.

MITCHELL SOUTHERLAND (Director of Production) is excited

to be part of the 2022 season, his ninth and final! Mitch graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BFA in scenic technology and will return to school this fall to earn a JD from Washburn University School of Law. He looks forward to serving the industry in this new capacity in the years to come. Special thanks to the rest of the MTWichita staff and to our dedicated designers and technicians. JACOB KRAMER (Wardrobe Supervisor) has spent summers

with Music Theatre Wichita since 2014, as a teen choir member, an apprentice, an intern, a performer, a crew member, and now couldn’t be more delighted to serve as a supervisor! All love and gratitude to family and friends for their love and support.

KYLA MANSFIELD (Paint Shop Charge) has been painting,

collaborating, and creating in Wichita for near ten years. She has had several painting credits around town at MTYP, Wichita Children’s Theatre, Roxy’s Downtown and MTWichita. She would like to thank her family on and off stage. And thank you for supporting local theatre!

JONATHAN LANE (Scene Shop Supervisor) is in his 3rd summer with MTW. He has just finished his master’s degree in teaching and hopes to begin his teaching adventure this fall!

Buffalo, NY and has worked as a Stage Manager in the professional theatre scenes of Buffalo, Boston, Pittsburgh, and Omaha. Ally is absolutely thrilled to be back at MTWichita for her 4th season with this wonderful company and its incredible people. Enjoy the show!

ERIN MITTMAN (Stage Manager) she/her is grateful to be at home with the Stage Management team at MTWichita since beginning as an apprentice in 2016. Working extensively in Wichita after graduating from Wichita State in 2021, she recently served as the Production Assistant for the National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof.

MOLLY TULLY (Intimacy Director) is an active member of the

Wichita theatre community. Favorite roles: Yitzhak (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) at Roxy’s and Audrey (Little Shop) at Forum. She is also a writer, choreographer, and director. Many thanks to MTWichita. All her love to James, Adi, Fiona and her friends and family.

JENNIFER FISHER (Sign Language Interpreter) is ecstatic to

return to live theatre. This will be my 14th season with MTW, having translated and performed over 50 shows. Grateful to all at MTW for the opportunity to create a meaningful performance for the Deaf community. Love to my family Grant, Kara and Stephanie.

EDWARD STURM (Assistant to the Artistic Director/Dramaturg) is always thrilled to “come home” to MTWichita, where he has spent a part of every summer since 2011. MEET THE ARTISTIC STAFF KRISTA MILLER (Covid Safety Manager) has been a Registered Nurse for 16 years, a Wichita resident for 15 years, and a music theater fan for most of her life. She is excited to have this unique opportunity to work with MTW using her nursing skills and experience this summer.

MARY SUE DYMAK (Rentals Director/Drop Fabricator/Archivist/ etc.): WOW! So many seasons (even with the cancellation of 2020), I’ve lost count! Who would have thought that back in 1976, a summer job would turn into such a career!! Being one of the oldest members of the production staff, this will mark stage productions numbering well over 240. In keeping our evergrowing rental business running, I oversee the management of our two warehouse facilities. My life remains happily engaged in larger and more complex tasks working for my favorite employer. Thanks and love to WB…..I offer my deepest love and respect to all who work in this fabulous building and for our organization. Cheers to returning to indoors at Century II!

HARVEY FIERSTEIN is a four-time Tony Award-winning writer and actor. His Broadway writing credits include Kinky Boots, Torch Song Trilogy (Tony, Drama Desk, Dramatists Guild Awards), Casa Valentina, Safe Sex, Legs Diamond and A Catered Affair (12 Drama Desk nominations and the Drama League Award for Best Musical). His La Cage Aux Folles is the only show to ever win Best Musical and 2 Best Revival Tony Awards. Other plays include Spookhouse, Forget Him and Flatbush Tosca. His teleplays include Tidy Endings for HBO (ACE Award), and On Common Ground for Showtime. His children’s HBO special, The Sissy Duckling, won the Humanitas Prize and the book version is in its eighth printing. Other honors include the Drama League Award for Outstanding Performer of the Year, a special OBIE award, NY Magazine Award, and nominations for The Olivier Award and an Emmy. His political writings have been seen on PBS’ series “In The Life” and published in The NY Times, Huffington Post and Hartford Courant. He was inducted into The Theater Hall of Fame in 2008.

MEET THE ARTISTIC STAFF CYNDI LAUPER Cyndi Lauper is a Grammy, Emmy and Tony Award-winning artist

with over 30 sterling years and global record sales in excess of 50 million albums. With her first album, “She’s So Unusual”, Lauper won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist and became the first female in history to have four top-five singles from a debut album. Since then, Lauper has released ten additional studio albums, been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and celebrated as a New York Times best-selling author. Overall, during her storied music career, Lauper has been nominated for 15 Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, seven American Video Awards and 18 MTV Awards. In 2013, Cyndi Lauper became the first solo woman to win Best original score for her music and lyrics for Kinky Boots. Never one to slow down, next she is currently writing the score for the Broadway adaptation of the 1988 feature film Working Girl, contributed a song to the score of the Broadway musical Spongebob Squarepants and launched her own fashion line A Touch of Cyn with Home Shopping Network.

JERRY MITCHELL (Original Director/Choreographer) received the Tony Award for Best Choreography twice —for the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Kinky Boots, for which he was also nominated as Director and previously for the revival of La Cage aux Folles. Jerry was most recently represented on Broadway as Director/Choreographer of Pretty Woman, now playing on the West End and on tour in the U.S. and the U.K. He directed the Gloria Estefan Broadway musical, On Your Feet! and its international tour and London production and was nominated for an Olivier Award for his choreography in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which he also directed and co-produced in London. In the 35 preceding years, Jerry has been involved with more than 50 Broadway, West End and touring productions, starting as a dancer for Agnes de Mille in Brigadoon and thereafter assisting Michael Bennett and Jerome Robbins. His Broadway debut as Choreographer, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, was followed by The Full Monty (Tony nomination); The Rocky Horror Show; Hairspray (Tony nomination and the NBC live television broadcast as well); Gypsy; Never Gonna Dance (Tony nomination); Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Tony nomination); La Cage aux Folles (Tony Award); Imaginary Friends; Legally Blonde (Tony nomination), which he also directed on Broadway and in London; Catch Me If You Can; and Kinky Boots. He also choreographed both the Off-Broadway productions and films of Hedwig & The Angry Inch and Jeffrey. Thirty or so years ago, Jerry conceived and created Broadway Bares, a comedy burlesque show performed annually for the charity Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, for which he continues to serve as Executive Producer as well as inspiring West End Bares which recently celebrated its 10th year raising money for AIDS awareness benefiting Terrance Higgins Trust.
