“Hey Mighty Montana Key Clubbers! My name is Aika Lanes, and I am a senior at Bozeman High School, where we do service projects such as our annual food drive, duck grams, and writing cards to seniors. I joined Key Club to participate in community service, but I stayed because of the amazing friends, memories, and impacts I have been able to make through this organization. I am a huge believer that everyone has the power to make a difference and change the world, one community at a time. Things that I like to do include playing trombone, hiking, napping with my dog, messing around with crafts, and hanging out with Key Clubbers!”

“Hello Montana Key Clubbers! I'm Orion Walker, a junior at Bozeman High school. I have been participating in Key Club for three years now and it's been a great way to get involved with and give back to my community. Outside of Key Club, I enjoy playing saxophone in the marching band, practicing martial arts, and participating in my local club. I look forward to working with all of you to make this a great service year!”

“Hi Key Clubbers! My name is Haylee Nay and I am your Tech Master for the 24-25 term! I am a senior at East Helena High school and have been a part of Key Club all 4 years. I was inspired to join Key Club after hearing an upperclassmen talk about it during my freshman orientation and it felt amazing to take part in helping build our Key Club from the ground up and I'm really glad for all the people I've gotten to meet through the club as well as helping my community! Some of my personal hobbies include crafting, painting, playing various instruments, exploring, and thrifting.”

Haylee’sbacktoschooltip

“My biggest tip for anyone is to join clubs and take part in activities at their school. It may seem lame but it will make the high school experience 10x better, even if you don't like it just trying something out gives you an experience.”

RayaLucas

“Hello Montana Key Club members, my name is Raya Lucas and I am serving as the Montana District Bulletin Editor this 2024-2025 service year. I am beyond excited to make sure all Montana Key Clubbers are informed and included in these publications. However I wouldn’t have gotten here if it weren’t for my experiences with key club. This year I’m determined to make something that you all will enjoy reading and will do so by taking suggestions from you guys

as well as working with my fellow board members. In my

“Attempt to go to all of your Key Club meetings because you don’t want to miss out on volunteer opportunities!” free time I enjoy playing badminton, and writing.

ARIANALEE ARIANALEE ARIANALEE

My name is Ariana Lee, your 2024–25 international trustee, and I am beyond excited to work closely with you all this year! My role can be described in one word: support. I am here to support you throughout your Key Club journey—whether that be advice on increasing meeting attendance or even chartering clubs in your area. Like many Key Club members, I have always appreciated Montana’s clear passion for aiding its community—your district’s traditions and YC events have done wonders in showcasing your devotion! To commemorate the 100th year, a major goal the I-Board intends to promote is increasing membership by 10% an objective the executive committee is working tirelessly to accomplish. To incentivize this achievement, the I-Board intends to implement an award for districts that achieve 10% growth. Although specifics on this award will be given at a later time, I would like you all to carry this goal with you throughout your term. Remember, the more members we have, the greater our impact extends! As represented by recent statistics, although mighty, Montana is one of the smaller districts. Thus, with club rush season approaching, clubs must be equipped with valuable resources and skills to increase their respective membership numbers. Incentivized by the prospect of witnessing Key Club grow exponentially, take advantage of freshmen’s curiosity, create recruitment posters, and compile testimonials that exhibit the opportunities Key Club provides its members.

LTG1 LaneWicks

“Hello everyone! My name is Lane Wicks, and I am a Junior at Florence Carlton High School. At Florence, we put on amazing projects like the Mr. Falcon Pageant, the annual Halloween Haunted House, food drives, and pretty much every dance. The projects are awesome but the real reason I joined Key Club was because it looks great for college, but I stayed active

because I truly love helping the community and doing good things. Making a positive impact is my biggest motivation. Outside of Key Club I like to play chess, lacrosse, guitar, and enjoy Montana's great outdoors!”

“I am currently a Sophomore at Butte Central Catholic High School. For fun, I like to go tubing, skiing, and watch TikTok. I plan to attend college in North Dakota or Arizona to study dermatology, and then see where life takes me after that. I joined Key Club my freshman year because I wanted to make a connection in bettering my school and community. I have enjoyed not only making friends and memories but also building a lifelong focus on leadership and being prompt at making a difference.”

“Hello, Montana Key Clubbers. I am Elora Swan, a senior at Billings Skyview High School, where we do all sorts of projects, from building and decorating our school's twirp to making sandwiches for our local homeless shelters. Last year was my first year of ket club, where I met all my friends who taught me the joys of helping our community through a high school club, and I continue to be a part of this because of the wonderful difference we make in our school and community. My core belief is, "All you have to do is do it." I said this for the first time my

sophomore year to help someone get through their nerves for an orchestra audition, but it has also got me through all of the events in my life.”

“Hey Montana key clubbers! My name is Olivia Sverdrup and I am a senior at Sidney High School. We get the

great opportunities to do service projects such as going and playing bingo with the senior citizens at the lodge Or when we participate in the out of darkness walk. Last but certainly not least is helping kiwanis pie social. I joined Key Club because I've always looked up to my dad who is part of Kiwanis. He inspired me to always help people out and do your part. So I strive to provide my service to all. With that I've met so many amazing people in this great organization. Some of my hobbies are playing golf and spending time with my animals.”

“Hey Montana Key Clubbers! My name is Connor Whitmer and I am the LTG atlarge for Division 6! I am going into my senior year at Glasgow High School,

where I joined Key Club as a freshman. I joined Key Club because all of my friends were in it, but I stayed because I found out how much I could help people through the club. Outside of Key Club, I love to travel, play my instruments, read, hike, and bake. I am super excited to see you all throughout the year!”

CadenceKallenberger

“Hello, my name is Cadence Kallenberger and I am a Senior at Havre High School. Some of my favorite things in life include family, friends, kayaking, traveling, listening to music, painting and cooking new recipes. My passion for Key Club has been fueled by my belief in the importance of giving back. Seeing a smile on another person ’ s face makes my heart dance. My favorite Key Club activity is the annual Kiwanis pancake breakfast during Festival Days, as I get to experience firsthand the joy of seeing people come together.”

LTG8 HoustonHayes

“Howdy Montana Key Clubbers!!

My name is Houston Hayes, I am seventeen, and a senior at Lincoln County High School. I enjoy participating in an absurd amount of sports and clubs at school and through other organizations. My short term goals for this year are to keep Division 8 at charter strength and to fully support my

current clubs in whatever ways they need. The long term goals I hope to accomplish for Division 8 are to create clubs for Whitefish and Kalispell as well as have two representatives from each club at DCON!”

LTG9 CopenEarley

Hi there Key Club! I'm Copen Earley, and I'm a senior at East Helena High School. I joined Key Club so I could do more for my community and to meet and build connections with new people. Other than Key Club, I enjoy participating in a lot of other clubs, including Debate, SkillsUSA, Student Council, Science Olympiad, and BPA. Outside of extracurriculars I enjoy hiking the trails of Montana, participating in citizen science projects, and browsing antique and second hand bookstores for old and rare books.

Five members of the Florence Carlton Key Club held concessions at a baseball tournament this summer and made drinks such as lotuses and italian sodas.
