The Yellowjackets advance to the GNAC Championships for the third season in a row, with one of the most prolific offenses in school history. BILLINGS, Mont. – A late-season tear and a trip to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships have come to define Montana State University Billings baseball over the last three seasons, and the 2017 campaign delivered on both fronts. Since 2015, MSUB has gone 29-7 over its final 12 games in the regular season, resulting in three straight trips to the conference tournament. This spring was no exception. “We had high expectations going into the year, and one thing this group showcased was its ability to accept challenges and deal with adversity,” commented first-year head coach Aaron Sutton. “The senior group provided tremendous leadership for the underclassmen, and they have a lot to be proud of as a group and all they’ve accomplished in their careers.”
