I’ve never heard a doctor say, ‘I wish I didn’t have fun in medical school’. Most students give up opportunities of leisure to study, to the extent that they’ve refused to have fun for months. I don’t want to graduate and only remember stressing and studying. I say, make memories daily. Accept the lunch invite, reach out for dinners, try new adventures, and actively work on facing your fears. The workload seems hard now, but in the wider perspective, now is the easiest it’ll get. Be a good doctor, but don’t forget to experience life on the way too
