About Admission Formerly Known as M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Ramaiah Institute of Technology is a private engineering college which is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka. The college offers degree programmes majorly within the field of engineering.

RIT BTech Minimum Eligibility 2022 A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 pattern of examination (equivalent to the 2 year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and arithmetic as compulsory subjects along side Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects within the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at MSRIT. The eligibility for admission is 45% just in case "> just in case of General Category and 40% marks within the qualifying examination in case of SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics within the qualifying examination are going to be considered within the place of Chemistry just in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is a smaller amount for the specified aggregate percentage for the aim of determination of eligibility (and not for the aim of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).

Admission Process Admission is thru counselling based on the rank obtained in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) or Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).

RIT BTech Admission and Selection Process 2022 Admissions to the 4 year undergraduate engineering programmes are given on the basis of the KCE or COMEDK UGET scores. The college admission s are governed by VTU which accepts these exams for admission to the university itself and therefore the affiliated colleges.

• Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) to offer admissions to interested candidates in various undergraduate as well as professional courses, offered by different colleges in the state of Karnataka.

• Candidates need to appear for CET in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects to secure admissions in Medical, Dental, Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy courses whereas those seeking admissions in Engineering / Technology courses conducted by KEA got to appear for entrance exams in Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects.

• Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED K) conducts a state-level examination called COMEDK UGET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) to offer admissions to interested candidates in engineering and medical degree courses offered by colleges/institutes that are affiliated to COMEDK. • The entrance test will be based on the existing syllabus of either 10+2 or 2nd PUC and candidates have to be thorough in all the topics taught so as to make it to the top COMEDK UGET colleges.

RIT BTech Application Process 2022 The candidates will need to apply online for admission in RIT. they will download the appliance forms from the official website.

Fill the appliance form with the specified details and confirm the knowledge is complete and accurate. Incomplete or faulty information within the form is subjected to cancellation.

COMEDK UGET 2022 Application Process Candidate need to apply online on the official website of COMEDK UGET so as to seem for this exam.

KCET 2022 Application Process Candidates can buy the KCET 2017 brochure-cum-application forms from the faculties or colleges mentioned within the information brochure. However, candidates who purchase the brochures from schools/colleges got to submit the duly filled KCET 2017 application forms to the respective schools or colleges.
