About the Raiders • MSOE has alternated wins and losses over its last eight matches after sweeping Benedictine last night.

• The Raiders have a solid 1-2 punch leading the attack in Hannah Pekarek and Rachel Lynde. The duo are second and fourth in the NACC with 2.96 and 2.82 kills per set, respectively.

• Lynde needs 43 kills to reach 1,000 career kills.

• Aleah Quast has been flying around the back line already this season, scooping up a league-best 5.41 digs per set. She surpassed 1,000 career digs this season and is nearing fifth in team history with 1,181 entering today.

• Abby Born has taken the reins of driving the offense once again, averaging 7.37 assists per set this season. She became the program’s all-time leader in career assists and enters today with 2,784.

• Three players have earned all-tournament honors this season. Allie Laurent picked up the award at the Lake Forest Invitational.

Lynde and Born earned the award at the MSOE Invite and Born repeated at the Ripon Invite.

• MSOE is one match out of the sixth and final NACC Tournament place with two matches remaining.

About Aurora • The Spartans saw their 12-match winning streak snapped in a showdown of league unbeatens last night at CUW. • Defending NACC Player of the Year Katie Vondra leads the NACC with 4.01 k/s. Karli Chambers is adding 2.71 k/s.

• Aurora is fighting for the top seed in the league tournament, but is one match off the pace with two to play.

• The Spartans dropped just one league match last season and was picked second in the league preseason poll.

Last Time Out MSOE suffered a hard-fought three-game sweep at Dominican Saturday. Pekarek led the team with seven kills and added 13 digs and a pair of service aces.

Series History The series between MSOE and Aurora is tied at seven wins apeice after three-straight Spartan victories entering today.

Next Time Out The Raiders close out league play at home Tuesday against Concordia Wisconsin.
