MSOE has obtained ownership of the building at the corner of Juneau Avenue and Water Street (1150 N. Water St.) in downtown Milwaukee. An anonymous donor made this opportunity possible. MSOE will convert the partially-completed building to a student residence tower. Project planners are hopeful that a portion of the tower will be ready for students in Fall 2014. Upperclassmen, graduate students and faculty will live in approximately 150 units, ranging from studio apartments to 1- and 2-bedroom units. The ground floor of the building will remain as retail space.
