Board of Directors Election 2012 What’s next for Mississippi Market? YOU decide! Vote for your next Board of Directors. Whether you cast your vote via paper ballot (found in our stores) or via paperless, online voting, electing your next co-op representatives makes a difference for Mississippi Market. Both online and paper voting options are secure, confidential and convenient. Many of you will receive an email with a link to vote online and any member can use this address to place their vote online:

(Please note the “https://” before the address. This indicates a secure site and must be included for the address to work). You will need your member-owner number and the last name of the official stockholder on the account to log in. Please keep in mind that while co-op memberships may be used by the whole household, just one member of the household is the official stockholder and just one vote may be placed. It is the stockholder’s last name that must be used for the login. If you would prefer to vote on paper, you will find ballots available in the stores at the at the voting stations in the seating areas. You will also need your member number and the stockholder’s last name to vote in store. Ballots will also be available during the first part of the annual meeting. However you choose to vote, remember that you’re putting the 4th Cooperative Principle into practice— democratic member control. Thanks in advance for your participation!

Fifth Street, Saint Paul, MN FREE, Please reserve your spot at www.msmarket.coop/events Or call 651-690-0507 All Mississippi Market Co-op member-owners are invited to attend our 2012 annual meeting. The annual member-owner meeting is chance for member-owners, directors on the board and staff to come together to celebrate our accomplishments and reaffirm our commitment to providing healthful food to our community. Join us as we share a meal prepared by our deli chefs and hear about St. Paul’s local food innovations from speaker Fred Haberman. The Great Hall is easily accessible by bus, bicycle or automobile. Fifteen different bus routes stop directly in front of the Great Hall and there are 4 Nice Ride bike sharing stations within 2 blocks. A parking ramp is directly across Fifth Street from the Great Hall and evening rates are $5. Some street parking is also available nearby, with meters free in the evening. We recommend allowing extra time for parking— registration opens at 5:30 pm and dinner begins promptly at 6pm!
