Rotary tournament scheduled April 18 From Staff Reports
news@farmersvilletimes.com Heading out to play golf on a normal day is simply an escape for some, but for the Farmersville Rotary Club it also serves as an annual fundraising opportunity. The 20th annual Bob Tedford Memorial Golf Classic is scheduled for Tuesday, April 18, at Wylie’s Woodbridge Golf Course. According to organizers, the proceeds go towards assisting the club with scholar-
ships, sponsoring Boy Scouts of America and sending young men and women to Camp RYLA, a Rotary leadership organization. It is the Rotary’s only fundraiser. The tournament kicks off at 11:30 a.m. with check-in and a boxed lunch. There will also be a hole-in-one contest.
