Denmark R. Pergis is from Cabuyo, Torrijos, Marinduque. He is 19 years old and was born at Bacoor Cavite on March 20, 2000. His parents are Diana Pergis and Augusto Pergis and he has 6 siblings. He graduated at Cabuyo Elem. School, Tigwi NHS, and Torrijos Senior High School and currently taking up BS Law Enforcement Administration.

Using Pergis ability in writing a poetry some of his works are written in formal paper. Some of his poem written in notebook using Tagalog words and inspired by his experiences about reality. He loves watching Fliptop and spoken poetry on YouTube. He started making poetries when he was Senior High School when he met his inspiration, which is his crush. Although, he can’t explain his feelings to that person,he express it by making poem.The proposed artwork was a poetry which is closely related to the theme of Marinduque’s Centennial. It is a poetic art that is wordbased made by native Marinduqueño that required in the theme of Marinduque’s Centennial. All his works are original. MAPANGHUSGANG MUNDO Bakit ba napakaraming, mapanira sa mundo? Umaasta na perpekto, mapanghusgang mga tao Bawat galaw ay komento, kung magkwento’y di kumpleto Naturingan nga na tao, pero hayop kung umakto. Animo’y tupang mabait, kapag ikaw ay kaharap Yun pala’y isang sawa na ang talento’y mapanggap Pilit kang ibabagsak, kapag ika’y nakaangat Pag-asenso mo sa buhay ay hindi pa matanggap. Dahil sila’y naiingit sa kung anong meron ka Na sa sarili’y pinipilit, dapat meron din sila Makakati nila na dila and siyang magdidikta Kung pano ka huhusgahan kahit hindi ka kilala. May bago ka lang na gamit, sasabihan ng mayabang Pag nagsuot ng maiksi, iisiping malandi yan Pag nabuntis ang anak, pabaya daw ang magulang Ganyan ba dapat mag-isip, hindi pinag-iisipan.

Kahit ang kwento’y di alam, mag-aalam-alaman yan Pilit na uungkatin ang buhay mo’t nakaraan Sa bawat mali mong paghakbang, ay may tawang nakalaan Pinag-arala’y nasaan, para bang wala naman. Kaya’t maraming tao ang nawawalan ng pag-asa Sumusuko sa pangarap, naubusan ng kumpiyansa Mga taong magaling, sa paggawa ng istorya Sila yung mga feeling perpect kung tawagin ay tsismosa. Kaya ngayon aking tanong, paano ba matatamasa? Ang buhay na Malaya, masaya lang at payapa Kung ako ay nabubuhay sa mapanghusgang mundo Na pilit kang ibabagsak kahit ano pang tibay mo.

Dominic Raza is a second year college student taking up of Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education in Marinduque State College. He was lived in Matumatuya, Torrijos, Marinduqe. He is the leader of the group named Siklab. Their group created way back August 2019. Their group Siklab composed of 3 society, they are MAPHE, MUSIC ED, and BCAED. They also encountered challenges. Their group experienced a hard time but they doing it together not because they want to but also for the achievement and honor of their department.

James Gerald L. Ligazon November 26, 1999 James Gerald Ligazon was lived in Laylay, Boac, Marinduque taking up a course of Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education. He joined Siklab Group on August 2019. He started dancing when he was in elementary. His inspiration in dancing is his family and also this is his passion and satisfaction. They group performed usually in school events like folk dances, cheer dance, and contemporary dance. They


also joined in MIMAROPA about the Festival Dance Battle as one of the representative of our province Marinduque.

Arjay L. Sanchez April 3, 1997

Arjay Sanchez is a third year college student taking up of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in MAPHE in Marinduque State College. Arjay was lived in Barangay Paye, Mogpog, Marinduque. He joined the Sklab Group last year, August 2019 and had a great experience when he started to dance in many events happened im their school. He started dancing since 2018 and his inspiration was his family. Giving such oppurtunity to dance in many events makes him happy because this was the time that their group can showcase their talent to everyone.

Ella May J. Jogno December 30, 1998

Ella May Jogno is a third year college student in Marinduque State College located at Tanza, Boac, Marinduque taking up of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in MAPHE. She joined the group Siklab in August 2019. She started dancing when she was in high school. Dancing is also her passion. She wants to encouraged the youth to do what they loved and be happy for it. Her inspiration is her family and her friends. They performed live performance in school events and also joined the celebration of Marinduque Cetennial.

Erika G. Odias July 11, 1998

Erika Odias is a twenty one years old student taking up of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in MAPHE in Marinduque State College located at Tanza, Boac, Marinduque. She was a member of Siklab Group since August 2019. She started dancing the first time she joined the group. Everytime she dance, it gives her an enjoyment and also gives her an inspiration. They only performed everytime the school asked them.


Karen L. Garay June 30, 1999

Karen Garay was lived in Silangan, Mogpog, Marinduqe. She is second year college student taking up of Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education in Marinduqe State College located at Tanza, Boac, Marinduqe. She was a member of Siklab Grop since she was a first year college student. During her high school days she started to like dancing. Joining the group makes her skills in dancing improved.

Clint Sean Manlangit February 15, 2000

Clint Sean Manlangit is a second year college student in Marinduque State College taking up Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education. He is one of the members of Siklab Group of Marinduque State College. He started to play music when he was 11 years old. He enjoyed every performance he did because he can expressed his feelings through it and happy doing what he loved. His inspiration was his family, friends and the people who trust him that he will be able to do so. Giving such opportunity to perform in the celebration of Marinduque Centennial makes him proud because he can showcase his talent to everyone and also to give honor to their department.


Oscar M. Loreto September 21, 1961

Oscar Loreto is a freelancer musician since the early 80’s. He is also a father of one child He was lived in Isok, Boac, Marinduque. He is now 58 years old. He performed live in many events like birthdays and wedding. During his college days on Marinduque State College, he also performed in many events. One of his meaningful performance was the celebration of Marinduque Centennial featuring his 2 compositions. Some of his compositions are Tuba, Kangga, Lalawigan, Buhay Pulo, Kwentong Aswang, Tambay, Lumang Gitara, Daang Paraiso and Tagaytay.

Sik lab society is an organizatio n that builds in Department of Education in Marinduque State College located in Tanza, Boac. It builds in August 2019. The purpose why they build Siklab society is because they are three programs which are BCAED, BSED Music Ed and BSED MAPHE to have a name as one department. The purpose of Siklab is to become one department eventhough they are diferrent s program but their course or subjects have connections. BCAEd 1 is the one who thinks the name of Siklab society and it’s made of BCAEd 1, BSED Maphe 3 and 4 and BSED Music 3 and 4.Siklab society is always invited to perform Putungan in any places to welcome visitors like in Balar, seminar and capitol in sta. cruz. It has a lot of performers or members that have different talents in siklab society, it have dancer particularly in local dance or folkdance, singer and using different instrumental. Siklab Society means “Sining at Kultura Banaag”. Putungan Folkdance The Siklab society group was performed Putungan Folkdance in 100 @100 the Marinduque arts festival. Putong or tubong is a ceremony occasionally performed in our Province of Marinduque, in which visitors are honored and welcomed. Putong means “to crown “is a song of thanksgiving, hope and prayer for a long, blessed life. The siklab society groups choose to perform this because this is our traditional way to welcome tourist or visitors and they know that performing putong is very long so that they make it atleast 3 minutes to entertain the audience and this putungan is Marinduque inspired. EmaleneEvagelista Ms.EmaleneEvang elista was 20 years of age from Buenavista Marinduque. Her birthday is on March 2, 2000. She was study here in Marinduque State College in Course of Bachelor of Science in Social Work. She is a 2nd year student. Her talent is singing and dancing. She joined many singing contests She is one of participant of singing contest of Strassuc and she won that contest. All of the contest that she participates she sung this song entitled “Patuloy ang Pangarap, All by Myself, Lipad ng Pangarap, Run to You, You are my Song, Bukas na lang kita Mamahalin, Kung Kaya kong Iwanan ka, I Have Nothing, Diamante, and Akin Ka Na Lang”. Most of her award is champion but sometimes she got a place. She is one of the participants of the Centennial in Marinduque. Her first choice to sing in that competition entitled “Diamante” but she was nervous to sing that song because she was doubted to forget the lyrics, but she decided to replace the song entitled “Akin Ka Na Lang”. She is lucky because she was declared as the champion

Alleah Gonzales

Ms. Alleah is known as a singer in Marinduque State College. She was 20 years of age and she was born on January 09, 2000 at Fabella Manila Hospital. She lives in Buyabod Sta. Cruz Marinduque. She studied in Marinduque State College taking up Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education a second year student. She is one of a member in choir in their chapel. She joined a singing contest in their school way back 2015 when she was in grade 9 and she got a first place in that competition. And when she was in high school there’s a lot of opportunities and competition that she had experience such as tugsayawit, broadcasting and singing contest. Alleah Fe choose the song “nosi balasi” because people are familiar to this song and it is tagalog version and she know that people will relate much on every lyrics that shows a very meaningful words that inspired people. It’s give an inspirational message that no matter what happen just go with the flow. And learned from people who pushes you down from who you are.


Joey

Medina (Byaheng Marinduque) Joey Medina is a third year college in Marinduque State College and he live in Buenavista, Marinduque. He born was on June 17, 1995 and turning 25 years old. He is the eldest child. His father is Joey Medina Sr.and his mother is Selevia Medina. He started to showcase his talent in music in Estern Samar and he knows a lot or how to play different kinds instruments like violin, guitar and piano. He teaches choir in Iglesia Filipina Indepiendente church. He performed or joined diffenrent singing contest and his masterpeice is kundiman and harana and he also expert composing theme makabayan or any kind of inspirational music because he wants to inspired other people. Byaheng Marinduque During centenial, he performed a song in titled “Byaheng Marinduque� his own composition. He compose this song because its related about the beauty of Marinduque, he love the province of Marinduque why she create this and he wants tourist to inpire and see the beauty of provice of Marinduque.

Jovan Magyaya ( Solo Guitarist) Jovan Magyaya studied in Marinduque State College taking autumotive course. He lives in Nangka Uno, Mogpog, Marinduque. He was 23 years old. He started to play acoustic guitar whn he was 15 years old, third year high school. He stop playing acoustic guitar four years ago and he started again in 2019 until now. During Centennial, he wants to play solo acoustic guitar because it is indeed a solo instrument and is already capable of providing a complete sound in its own, pieces commonly available in the classical guitar repertoire are mostly for solo playing, and he guess, scarcity of likeminded, classical guitarists that plays the same genre of music. He actually really looking forward with having to meet and play with other likeminded musicians especially in local area.


JOEY MEDINA is a fourth year college student with a course Bachelor of Secondary Music Educationin MarinduqueState College Boac Campus. He born on June 17, 1995 and he is currently 24 years old. He lives in Brgy. yook, buenavista. Composing a song is one of his best hobby in his life“ParinesaMarinduque” is one of his original compose together with Mr. Philip Quitiriano his classmate. They are not generally group but because of same interest and hobbies they work together and created this song .

Ms, Aleika P. Pilar, was currently studying at Marinduque State College as Bachelor of Cultural Arts in Education. She was 20 years old, born on June 6, 1999. She is the daughter of Mr. Leonardo Pilar and Elisa Pilar. She has 3 siblings and currently living at Poctoy, Torrijos, Marinduque. She is a musician, playing acoustic guitar.

PHILIP I. QUITIRIANO is a fourth year college student with a course of bachelor of science secondary education in marinduque state college. He was born on October 10 1989 and he is 30 years of age. He lives in torijjospoblacion, composing a song is one of his interest he have partner in composing and it is mr. Joey medina who perform on the centenial,mr. Philip and mr. Joey is the composer of the tribute song in 100 years of marinduque which is called centennial and this song was titled “parinisamarinduque".

Ms, Allyssa Mae O. Siatong was a student from Marinduque State College taking the course as Bachelor of Cultural Arts in Education. She was 19 years old, born on May 13, 2000. She lived at Brgy. Buliasnin, Boac, Marinduque. She is instrumentalist playing Banduria and Rondalla, also a member of choir.
