Are you bored in your homes? Come and join us as we travel and explore unique cultural knowledge, stories, and history about the town of Buenavista! In solidarity with the celebration of the National Heritage Month, Marinduque State College under the leadership of MSC Culture and Arts is offering a virtual gathering entitled "Tertulyang Pamana". The second episode of the webinar has a theme “Cultural Development: Heritage, Identity, and Research”. It aimed to present the Buenavista Coffee Table Book featuring the unique treasures of Buenavista. The purpose of this webinar is to give greater clarity and knowledge to the people inside and outside Marinduque. Also, so that even during the pandemic everybody can continue to have an enjoyment of the culture, traditions, and products that our dear province has to offer. The audience of the webinar witnessed the marvelous and unique stories in Buenavista. Hence, a meaningful discussion was conducted to know more about the heritage found on the heart -shaped island of Marinduque. Happy National Heritage Month!

Sir Jimbo Fatalla discusses the significance of heritage, identity and research in cultivating one’s culture. He further discussed about the study of culture where history, concepts of heritage and identity are strongly tied to the colonial experience of Marinduque. Come and See! Are you excited to travel within other towns? Don’t worry because we got you! We will travel to the town of Sta.Cruz and encounter their one-of-a-kind culture. In association with the celebration of National Heritage Month, Marinduque State College lead by MSC Culture and Arts bring you the virtual celebration entitled “Tertulyang Pamana”. The 3rd Episode focused on Journey and Status of Sta.Cruz Cultural Mapping. The audience have witnessed the rich culture of Sta.Cruz that has become part of us being a Marindukanon. Objectives of this episode is to know more and enrich the culture from our deep roots and heritage. Also, to give support to the local culture that binds us, despite the pandemic. Everyone learn and enjoy the one-hour meaningful discussion about Sta.Cruz culture. Happy National Heritage Month!
